AP TET Cut-Off 2024: The Department of School Education under the Government of Andhra Pradesh will release the AP TET cut-off 2024. The cut-off will be released once the AP TET exams are conducted, and the results are declared. The cut-off marks refer to the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate has scored in the teacher eligibility test to pass the exam.

Candidates who will qualify for the AP TET exam successfully will only be able to check the AP TET result and cut-off. Candidates must note that the cut-off for the teacher eligibility test varies for different categories. Candidates who belong to general categories are required to obtain 60 per cent in the exam, whereas candidates of the BC category are required to obtain 50 percent. The SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) candidates are required to secure 40 percent marks in the exam. 

Candidates who will qualify for the teacher eligibility test will be eligible to teach students from classes 1 to 8. However, candidates should note that the exam has two papers. While paper I is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, paper II is attempted by those candidates who intend to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach students from classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers.

Candidates can check their AP TET cut-off 2024 and the result on the official website. They need to login in to the website with the credentials that have been provided to them. Aspirants can check the cutoff for the teacher eligibility exam by following these simple steps. 

Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official website of AP TET

Step 2: On the homepage, students will find the option that reads ‘AP TET result’ – Click on that 

Step 3: Now, a new page will open in front of the candidates where they need to log in while using the credentials they have been provided 

Step 4: Candidates need to click on the cut-off section 

Step 5: Select the Paper I or Paper II

Step 6: The cut-off pdf will be displayed in front of the screen

AP TET Previous Year's Cut-off 

As per the AP TET result data for last year, 58.07 percent of candidates qualified.  Meanwhile, a total of 5,25,789 applicants applied for the AP TET  exam, out of which 4,07,329 candidates appeared for it.

AP TET Result 2024

AP TET result will be declared by the Department of School Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh and will be released on the official website. Candidates must note that the results will be prepared through the normalization formula. Hence, the results will be determined on the factors which are the final answer key and the normalization formula. The examination will be held in online mode.

AP TET Qualifying Marks 2024

Candidates are required to obtain a minimum qualifying mark to clear the teacher eligibility exam. Candidates should note that they are required to score higher than the passing marks set by the authorities in both Paper I and Paper II (A & B).

Once the Department of Education, Andhra Pradesh will release the result and cut-off, candidates can check them on the official website. Candidates who have been shortlisted in the exam and have cleared the eligibility test will be eligible to get their AP TET certificate. After receiving the AP TET certificate, candidates will be eligible to apply for the teaching position in state-aid schools.
