AP TET Cutoff 2025: The Department of School Education under the Government of Andhra Pradesh will release the cut off for AP TET exam. The AP TET cutoff marks refer to the minimum qualifying marks that a candidate has to score in the teacher eligibility test to pass the exam.

Candidates must note that the cut off for the AP TET exam varies for different categories. Candidates who belong to general categories are required to obtain 60 per cent in the exam, whereas candidates of the BC category are required to obtain 50 percent. The SC/ST/ Differently abled (PH) candidates are required to secure 40 percent marks in the exam. 

Candidates who will qualify for the teacher eligibility test will be eligible to teach students from classes 1 to 8. However, candidates should note that the exam has two papers. While paper I is for those candidates who wish to become teachers for classes 1 to 5, paper II is attempted by those candidates who intend to become teachers for classes 6 to 8. Candidates who want to teach students from classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers.

As per the AP TET result data for last year, 58.07 percent of candidates qualified.  Meanwhile, a total of 5,25,789 applicants applied for the AP TET  exam, out of which 4,07,329 candidates appeared for it.

Candidates must note that the results will be prepared through the normalization formula.
