CGPSC Exam 2025: Prelims Date, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern, Result

CGPSC Exam 2025 notification has been released on the official website - psc.cg.gov.in. The registration process for the CGPSC exam will start from December 1, 2025. The CGPSC exam 2025 is conducted in three phases: prelims, mains, and interview.

CGPSC Exam 2025: Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission (CGPSC) has offically released the notification for the State CGPSC Service Examination (SSE) 2025 on November 26, 2025, announcing 238 vacancies for various posts and services. The online registration process for Chhattisgarh State Service Prelims Examination 2025 will start from December 1, 2025 from 12:00 noon and the last date to submit the application form is December 31, 2025 at 11:59 PM. Eligible candidates can register for the CGPSC SSE 2025 exam through the offical website - psc.gov.in.

The CGPSC Preliminary examination 2025 is set to be conducted on February 22, 2026 in two shifts. The first shift examination will be held from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon and the examination for second shift from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Once the online application for State Services Preliminary Examination 2025 is over then the CGPSC will open an application correction window for the candidates.

Only those candidates who will successfully register for the Chhattisgarh SSE 2025 examination can make changes in their application form without any additional fee from 12:00 noon on December 31, 2025 to 11:59 PM on January 2, 2026. In case if any candidate make changes in their application form from January 3 to January 5, 2026 then the candidates will have to pay the correction fee. Particulars such as the gender, date of birth, category, native place and disabled person can be changed by the candidate during paid error correction. CGPSC has also released the tentative dates for the SSE Main examination, the exam is scheduled to be held on May 16, 17, 18 and 19, 2026.

CGPSC Exam 2025

CGPSC exam 2025 is conducted to recruit candidates for various posts offered by the Chhattisgarh government. Candidates who are interested in getting recruited for posts offered by the state government can appear for the examination. The exam has three stages and candidates have to qualify for all three stages in order to get recruited for the examination.

The first stage of the examination is known as the prelims stage also called the screening stage. Once the candidate has cleared the screening stage, then he or she will be eligible to appear for the mains stage. Further, the candidates who will clear the mains stage will be eligible to appear for the interview round.  Lastly, the exam conducts a final cut-off based on the marks scored by the candidates in the mains and interview round.

The application process for the CGPS State Service Prelims examination will be conducted online from December 1 and will continue till December 30, 2025. Before filling the application form, candidates should check the CGPSC eligibility 2025. The CGPSC application form has three major steps including filling in the details on application form, uploading the documents and paying the application fees. Once the candidate completely fills the application form, then he or she will be eligible to get the admit card. 

Aspirants must note that the application form for prelims and mains stage is released separately. This means that at first candidates have to fill the application form for the prelims stage and once they have qualified for the prelims, candidates have to fill the application form for the mains stage.
