APPSC Result 2025: Group 1 Prelims Result, Mains, and Interview details

APPSC result 2025 for group 1 exam is released after the prelims and mains exams have been conducted. Candidates can check the results on the commission's official website once released.

APPSC Result 2025: The results for the APPSC Prelims and Mains are released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission itself. The exam conducting body will release the results online in the form of a PDF, and candidates can download the document by clicking on the direct link. The result for APPSC Group 1 prelims will be released after the exam is conducted. The APPSC exam for group 1 prelims will be held soon. The exam calendar will be released by the commission at psc.ap.gov.in.

Candidates who have qualified for the APPSC prelims exam will be allowed to appear for the APPSC Mains exam. Furthermore, the commission will also release the cut-off. The cut-offs will be released in phases -- Prelims, Mains and Interview. Only those candidates will be shortlisted for the service who have qualified for all three stages of the examination.  

The APPSC prelims result consists of the roll number of candidates. Candidates who wish to apply for the examination are first required to check the expected cut-off before applying for the examination.

The APPSC results for Prelims and Mains will be released separately by the commission. The results are released on the commission's official website, psc.ap.gov.in. Candidates can check the results by using their roll numbers once released. 

Candidates are required to score a minimum qualifying percentage to clear the exam. While candidates in the open category have to score 40 % to clear the exam, students belonging to SC, ST, and PH categories have to score 30 %.  Moreover, candidates in the open category have to score at least 96 marks to clear the exam, whereas SCs, STs, and PHs have to score 72 marks to qualify for the exam.

Once the APPSC exam is conducted, the exam conducting body will release the results on the official website. Candidates can follow the given steps to check their results once released. Please note that the exam conducting body will release the results of all three stages - Prelims, Mains, and Interview - separately. 

Step 1: Go to the official website 

Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link titled 'Results' 

Step 3: A new page will open where candidates need to click on the respective link to download the APPSC Group 1 and Group 2 results

Step 4: Once clicked, a new page will open, which will have the results in the pdf form

Step 5: The result will consist of the roll number of the candidates who have qualified for the exam

Step 6: Candidates can check their results by searching their roll number 

NOTE: Download the results and keep a hard copy of for future use.

Candidates are required to check the following details in the APPSC results:

  • List of roll numbers of qualified candidates 
  • List of documents that the candidate needs to produce at the time of verification 
  • Expected date of the APPSC Group 1 Interview 

A notification from the APPSC has been made public regarding the Post Preference. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam have a choice of post preference, exam centre, and the medium of writing the Mains examination. The steps for submitting the APPSC Group 1 Post Preference are listed below.

In the weeks following the release of the results, the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission releases the examination cut-off.  The APPSC cut-off will be released in phases - Prelims, Mains, and Interview.  The cut-off for the APPSC exam refers to the minimum qualifying marks obtained by the candidate to qualify for the exam. Further, candidates should note that the qualifying percentage and marks are different for candidates belonging to the different categories.
