RPSC RAS Eligibility 2024: The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) holds a number of exams to select eligible candidates for various state government positions under Rajasthan Administrative Services. In order to be eligible for the RPSC RAS exam, individuals must meet a variety of eligibility requirements prescribed by the commission. The eligibility will be based on the candidate’s age, nationality, and qualifications. 

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility requirements will be able to fill the RPSC RAS application form online at rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in. The RAS application window will open on September 19, 2024. Candidates will be allowed to fill the application form online till October 18, 2024. RPSC RAS exam dates are yet to be announced by the commission.

RPSC RAS Eligibility Criteria 2024: Age Limit

The majority of the RPSC exams have a 21-year-old minimum age requirement. The upper age limit varies, however, depends on the exam and the candidate type. The typical upper age limit for candidates in the general category is 40 years, although candidates in the reserved categories are given age relaxation benefits if they meet certain requirements. RPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024: Nationality

To be eligible for RPSC RAS exam, candidates must be Indian citizens. Candidates belonging to other countries are not eligible to apply for these exams. In majority of the cases, the RPSC exams are open to all applicants regardless of their domicile. However, for limited exams, students are required to be residents of Rajasthan to be considered eligible for that particular job post. These exams are conducted specifically to recruit candidates for positions that require knowledge of the local language and culture.

RPSC Eligibility Criteria 2024: Educational Qualification

Candidates appearing for RPSC RAS examination must have a valid bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.

Check additional requirements below: 

  • Any university that was established by a Central Legislative Act
  • Any university that was established by a State Legislative Act
  • Any other educational institution established via a law of the legislature or designated as such under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956
  • Or, Any university which holds a qualification that is equivalent and has been approved by the government after consulting with the Rajasthan Public Service Commission 

RPSC Eligibility 2024: Number of Attempts

The commission has released no information regarding the number of RPSC RAS exam attempts. As stated in the RPSC RAS eligibility requirements, the candidate may apply as many times as necessary until the maximum age for their respective examination is achieved.
