APPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: The APPSC exams are conducted by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. APPSC exam takes place in three stages, which are prelims, mains, and interview. Candidates must clear all three stages of the exam to be recruited for the post they have applied for. APPSC Group 1 prelims admit card has been released

• APPSC Group 1 exam schedule for the session 2025 will be released soon at psc.ap.gov.in. 

The APPSC exam is a state-level exam and takes place once a year. The exam is conducted in offline mode. There are 4 groups for the APPSC exam, and the groups offer different posts to candidates. The APPSC official notification consists of a syllabus, exam pattern and marking scheme. Hence, candidates appearing for the examination should first check the official notification before beginning the preparation. 

APPSC Group 1 Mains Exam Date 2025

APPSC Group 1 is a recruitment exam that is conducted for candidates who wish to be recruited at the administration level under different departments of the Andhra Pradesh government. As per previous trends, APPSC is set to release the official notification for the APPSC Group 1 2025 Exam cycle by July-August 2025.

Since the APPSC exam has three stages - Prelims, Mains, and Interview, candidates need to qualify for all three stages to be eligible to enrol for the training process. Once the training process is completed, candidates will be posted to their posts. 

APPSC Group 1 2025 Application Process 

The application form for APPSC is released by the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission. Before filling out the application process, candidates must check the eligibility criteria laid out by the education body to appear for the examination. Candidates have to fill out the application form once for prelims, and then, once the candidate has qualified for the prelims, will then appear for the mains exam. 

APPSC Group 1 2025 Application Fees 

Candidates can take a look at the following fee structure for different candidates belonging to different categories. 

The applicants belonging to the general category have to pay a processing charge of Rs. 80, along with the examination fee of Rs. 200. Candidates belonging to the reserved categories do not have to pay the processing charge.

APPSC Group 1 Admit Card 2025

The APPSC Group 1 prelims and mains admit card is released by the APPSC on the official website. Candidates can download their admit card by visiting the official website and logging in. Since the recruitment exam has three stages - prelims, mains, and interview, the education body releases hall tickets for each stage separately. 

Only those candidates who filled out the APPSC application form will be able to get their APPSC Group 1 Admit Card 2025. Candidates must note that hall tickets are an essential document as they consist of several important pieces of information including name of the candidate, reference ID, father's name and other information. Appearing candidates are required to download the admit cards and print a hard copy as well.

APPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: Syllabus 

Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission releases the APPSC Group 1 Syllabus for prelims and mains exams. It is advisable to check the syllabus thoroughly before beginning the preparation for the examination. The APPSC syllabus plays an essential role for candidates who are appearing in the exam. The APPSC mains exam syllabus consists of two qualifying papers and five merit-ranking papers. Further, candidates must know that the syllabi for prelims and mains are different.

APPSC Group 1 Exam 2025 Pattern 

APPSC releases the APPSC Prelim and Mains exam pattern along with the official bulletin at psc.ap.gov.in. The APPSC Group 1 exam Pattern is released in the form of a PDF. The exam pattern sheds light on the maximum weightage of questions from specific topics, in which mode the exam will be conducted, and others.

APPSC Group 1 Prelims: Exam Pattern 

Candidates are recommended to check the exam pattern before planning to take the APPSC Prelim exam. The APPSC prelim exam has two papers, and both papers are MCQ type. The test is given in an offline format. In addition, the exam has negative markings, and one-third of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. On the other hand, the exam carries a total of 120 marks because each question is of 1 mark.

APPSC Group 1 Mains: Exam Pattern 

The APPSC mains exam is conducted in offline mode. Moreover, there are seven descriptive papers in the test, each worth 150 marks. The test also includes Telugu and English qualifying exams.

APPSC Group 1 Exam 2025: Results

APPSC prelims and mains results are declared by the APPSC on the official website. Candidates can use the official website to view the APPSC Group 1 Results. The results will be released in PDF format, and candidates can check their roll number in that document.

Candidates who qualify for the prelims stage become eligible to appear for the APPSC mains exam. Those who will clear the APPSC mains exam will then appear for the APPSC interview round.   

To pass the exam, candidates must score a minimum qualifying percentage. Students who fall under the SC, ST, and PH categories must achieve a score of 30% to pass the test, whereas open-category applicants must achieve a score of 40%. In comparison, applicants in the open category must receive at least 96 marks to pass the test, while SC, ST, and PH candidates must receive 72 marks to be eligible to take the test.
