APPSC Result 2024: The results for the APPSC Prelims and Mains are released by the APPSC itself. The exam conducting body will release the results online in the form of a PDF and candidates can download the document by clicking on the direct link. The result for APPSC group 2 prelims was released on April 10, 2024. The APPSC exam for group 2 prelims was held on February 25, 2024. Meanwhile, the exam for APPSC group 1 prelims was held on March 17, 2024.

Candidates who have qualified for the APPSC prelims exam will be able to appear for the APPSC Mains exam. Further, candidates should also note that the commission will also release the cut-off. However, it will be released in phases -- Prelims, Mains and Interview. Only those candidates will be shortlisted for the Job who has qualified for all three stages of the examination.  

The APPSC prelims result consists of the roll number of candidates. Candidates who wish to apply for the examination are first required to check the expected cut-off before applying for the examination.

Candidates are required to score a minimum qualifying percentage in order to clear the exam. While candidates in the open category have to score 40 % to clear the exam, students belonging to SC, ST and PHs categories have to score 30 %.  On the other hand, candidates in the open category have to score at least 96 marks to clear the exam, whereas SCs, STs and PHs have to score 72 marks to qualify for the exam.

Once the APPSC exam is conducted, the exam conducting body will release the results on the official website. These simple steps can be followed by candidates to check their results. Candidates should know that the exam conducting body will release the results of all three stages - Prelims, Mains and Interview will be released separately.

Step 2: On the homepage, students will find the link that reads 'results' -- click on that 

Step 3: A new page will open where candidates need to click on the respective link in order to download the APPSC Group 1 and Group 2 results

Step 4: Once clicked, a new page will open which will have the results in the pdf form

Step 5: The result will consist of the roll number of the candidates who have qualified for the exam

Step 6: Candidates can check their results by looking at their roll number

Ways to Submit APPSC Services Post Preference? 

A notification from the APPSC has been made public regarding the Post Preference. Candidates who pass the preliminary exam have a choice of post preference, exam centre, and the medium of writing the Mains examination. The steps for submitting the APPSC Group 1 Post Preference are listed below.

Step 1: Go to the official website 

Step 2: Now, the candidate needs to check the menu for the APPSC post reference 

Step 3: Now, the candidate needs to fill in the details as asked such as ID, password, captcha 

Step 4: Now, click on the login button 

Step 5:  Set preferences for things like the major exam medium, the exam location, the post preference, etc.

Step 6: Candidates need to verify the detail and click on submit 

APPSC Cut-off 

In the weeks following the release of the results, the APPSC (Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission) releases the examination cut-off.  The APPSC cut-off will be released in phases - Prelims, Mains and Interview.  The cut-off for the APPSC exam refers to the minimum qualifying marks obtained by the candidate in order to qualify for the exam. Further, candidates should note that the qualifying percentage and marks are different for candidates belonging to the different categories.
