The PPSC recruitment exams for the posts of Assistant Town Planner (Group-A) and Assistant Architect (Group-A) comprise of subject-related topics, general knowledge, and current affairs, general mental ability, quantitative aptitude, and logical reasoning. The PPSC syllabus for the Register A-II and Register C posts include topics in Civics, Indian History, Geography, Science, Punjabi, English, the History of Punjab, and General Knowledge.

In the PPSC recruitment exam for the Register A-II and Register C posts, there are 100 multiple-choice questions, and the total marks of the exam is 100 marks. There is a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrectly answered question in the common screening test for Register A-II and Register C posts.

PPSC Exam Pattern 2023: Register A-II and Register-C

• The Common Screening Test will consist of 100 questions.
• Every question carries 1 mark, and the total marks of the exam is 100 marks.
• The questions will be objective-type, multiple choice-based questions.
• The level of the exam will be as per graduation standard. 
• There is a negative marking in the exam. A deduction of 0.25 marks will take place for every question that has been answered incorrectly. 
• Candidates must note that unattempted questions will not be given any marks. 
• The duration of the screening test will be two hours.
