OPSC Cut-off 2023: The OPSC cut-off marks list is released by the Odisha Public Service Commission on its official website. The cut-off is usually released after the declaration of the result. The OPSC is an exam conducting body which conducts exams for several posts offered under the government of Odisha. Since the OPSC exam has three stages - prelims, mains and interview, the cut-off for all three stages will be released separately. Candidates must know that in order to get recruited, they have to score a minimum qualifying percentage in all three stages.
OPSC cut-off is a term used for the minimum qualifying percentage required to score by the candidates in order to qualify for the examination. The cut-off for the examination is released differently for candidates belonging to different categories. Aspirants who score an equal qualifying percentage or above are considered qualified for the specific round.
Further, there are several factors that might affect the cut-off. However, candidates must note that these factors vary each year. The OPSC results are also uploaded on the official website, and later the recruitment body releases the cut-off. The OPSC has released the official notification regarding the Odisha Civil Services exam 2023. A total of 683 seats will be filled through this recruitment drive.
OPSC Cut-off 2023
OPSC cut-off is an important document for candidates as it determines whether the candidate has qualified for the examination or not. Candidates who will be able to score equal to or more than the cut-off for the prelim stage of the exam will be then eligible to appear for the OPSC mains exam. Similarly, candidates have to score equal to or above the cut-off in order to clear the OPSC mains and later appear for the personality test.
Further, candidates must note that the OPSC qualifying marks are different compared to the cut-off. Aspirants need to score both minimum qualifying marks and cut-off to clear the exam. Also, the exam conducting body will release different cut-offs for different posts.

Minimum Qualifying Marks
There is a difference between the minimum qualifying marks and cut-off and aspirants should not get confused between both.
While the minimum qualifying marks are determined by the OPSC exam board commission and are considered as the minimum marks needed to pass the test. Even if the selection process is merit-based, it should be standard practice to achieve higher than the cutoff marks.
