HPPSC Eligibility: Age Limit
There is a lower and upper age limit for HPPSC as declared by the exam conducting body. Students who do not meet this requirement will not be eligible to attempt the exam or complete the HPPSC login and registration process. The following are the minimum and maximum HPPSC age limit-
- Lower Age Limit: 21 Years and above
- Upper Age Limit: 35 Years
HPPSC Age Relaxation
The age is calculated by HPPSC as of January 1 of the year of assessment. Yet, students that fall under the reserved category are permitted exceptions for age relaxation.

HPPSC Eligibility: Nationality
Applicants who want to apply for the HPPSC exam 2023 must also meet the requirements for nationality. To take this exam, one must be an Indian citizen. The participant must only be an Indian citizen and moreover, it is permissible for an Indian citizen to join the HPAS along with other state-related administrations. For some positions, it is essential that candidates are the domicile of Himachal Pradesh.
HPPSC Eligibility: Educational Qualification
Through the HPPSC exam, students are recruited for various job posts and different posts require a different level of educational qualification. Higher education from any recognized college is the fundamental educational requirement to participate in the HPAS. A bachelor’s degree in any discipline from an accredited institute is also mandatory. Although, some selective positions may require additional qualifications in the form of a diploma or degree. There is no minimum percentage that must be achieved in graduation.
