CISF Eligibility Criteria 2025: Post wise Age Limit, Education Qualification & Physical Eligibility

CISF Eligibility 2025: The Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) releases the CISF Eligibility Criteria 2025 on its official website. The CISF exam 2025 is conducted for recruitment to various positions for which eligibility requirements may vary. Candidates who wish to be recruited for CISF Head Constable, CISF Driver, CISF Constable, and other positions must fulfil their respective eligibility criteria.

As mentioned above, CISF eligibility may vary as per the post. For example, CISF head constable eligibility requires candidates to pass 10+2 from a recognised board or institute. On the other hand, CISF driver eligibility requires candidates to pass Class 10 only with a minimum pass percentage. The CISF Head Constable age limit is 18-25. The CISF driver recruitment age limit is 21-27. 

The CISF recruitment 2024 also requires candidates to fulfil the physical requirements and medical standards. The CISF head constable height for male is 165 Cm. The CISF head constable height for female is 155 Cm. The physical requirements are for all candidates except those who belong to the Scheduled Tribes. The CISF head constable physical eligibility also requires male candidates to have a chest size of 77-82 Cm (Minimum expansion of 5 Cm). However, there is no such requirement for female candidates.

CISF Eligibility 2025

The CISF eligibility comprises educational requirements, age limit criteria, and physical and medical standards. Students must meet all the eligibility requirements including CISF physical eligibility to apply for the post. Any candidate found ineligible will be rejected during any stage of the selection process.

CISF Head Constable Age Limit: Relaxation

As per the rules and regulations of the candidates, reserved category candidates also receive an age relaxation. The permissible relaxation in head constable upper age limit for different categories are as follows:

CISF Typing Test 2025

Candidates applying for the post of Head Constable also requires to give a typing test. As per CISF Head Constable Typing Test, candidates require a minimum speed of 35 wpm for English Typing and a minimum speed of 25 wpm for Hindi Typing.

CISF Driver Eligibility 2025

According to the CISF driver eligibility, candidates must have passed Class 10 with a minimum percentage of marks from a recognised board or institution. The age limit for CISF driver is 21-27 years. Interested candidates can check the detailed CISF driver eligibility criteria in the table below:

Note: To apply for CISF driver post, candidates must have a valid driving license for the following type of vehicles:

1. a) Heavy Motor Vehicle or Transport Vehicle (HMV/TV)
2. b) Light Motor Vehicle
3. c) Motorcycle with gear

CISF Constable Tradesman Eligibility 2025

Candidates who wish to apply for the CISF Constable Tradesman must fulfil the eligibility criteria including educational qualification, age limit, and physical standard. The detailed CISF constable eligibility is discussed below:

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have passed Class 10 or equivalent with a minimum percentage required from a recognised board or institution. Candidates must be skilled for respective positions like Barber, Cobbler, Tailor, Cook, Washerman, Welder, etc.

Age Limit

Candidates must be between the age limit of 18 to 23 years. CISF tradesman OBC age limit is 26 years and for SC/ST, the maximum age limit is 28 years. The CISF tradesman age limit relaxation can be checked in the image below:

Physical Standards

According to the CISF Tradesman physical eligibility for male, candidates (UR, SC, EWS and OBC) must have a height of 170 Cm and a chest of 80 Cm (with minimum expansion of 5 Cm). For ST candidates, the minimum height required is 162.5 Cm and a chest size of 76 Cm (with a minimum expansion of 5 Cm)

As per CISF Tradesman physical eligibility for female, candidates (UR, SC, EWS and OBC) must have a height of 157 Cm and no chest measurement is required. For ST candidates. For ST candidates, the minimum height required is 150 Cm and no minimum chest measurement is required.

CISF Assistant Commandant Eligibility

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised board or institution.

Work Experience

The candidates must have completed four years of continuous service in the rank of Sub-Inspector (GD) or Inspector (GD), including the time spent in basic training, and they must have a pristine service record as of the day the offer of employment was made. 

CISF AC (exe) LDCE Age Limit

The CISF assistant commandant age limit is 35 years. Candidates must not be more than 35 years of age. The upper age limit may, however, be relaxed up to five years for candidates belonging to Schedule Castes or Schedule Tribes.

Physical Standard
