AFCAT Admit Card 2024: Dates and Steps to Download

AFCAT Admit Card 2024 will be released after the registration process is over. AFCAT 1 2024 registration process will start on December 01, 2023. Eligible candidates will be to register on the official website till December 30, 2023. 

The official website of the conducting body has released the admit card for AFCAT 1 2024. Admit Card can be downloaded by registered candidates using their login credentials.

The AFCAT exam is conducted twice a year for applicants wanting to join the Indian Air Force for either the Flying Branch or On-Ground duties, both technical and non-technical posts. Without the AFCAT admit card, candidates are not allowed in the test centre on the day of the exam. It is important to meet AFCAT Eligibility in order to download the admit card successfully. The reporting time, exam schedule, and venue address are all mentioned on the admit card. It is essential that candidates bring their admit card along with one form of photo identification. To complete the verification process, candidates are advised to report at the test centre well in advance.

AFCAT Admit Card: How to Download?

The steps mentioned below should be followed by applicants in order to successfully download the AFCAT 2 admit card once it releases on the official website

• Applicants must visit the official website and complete the AFCAT login using their credentials
• Once they have logged in, they must select the admit card link available on the homepage
• Students can proceed to download the admit card and are advised to also take a printout for the same
• A confirmation SMS or email will be sent to the candidate at the same time. The candidate will receive the admit card (which includes the hall ticket number) on his or her registered email address and can also directly download it from the email itself

It is important for students to carefully check the admit card for any discrepancies. If found any errors or mistakes, candidates must inform the exam conducting body for the same immediately. Carrying an admit card that has wrong information on the day of the exam will result in the disqualification of the candidate. AFCAT 1 2024 exam dates have not been released yet. The admit cards are released 7-10 days before the scheduled exam date. The registration process for AFCAT 1 2024 will start on December 01, 2023. 

AFCAT Guidelines 2024

As mentioned in the article above, the admit card will have proper guidelines that applicants will need to follow on exam day. Candidates will only have access to the question paper during the online exam only. Moreover, they will not be issued extra copies of the exam questions. No issues concerning the AFCAT will be answered six months after the exam date. Also, students are not allowed to leave the exam room until the exam is over. 

AFCAT Admit Card 2024: Items to be carried at the exam centre

Applicants must carry the following items without fail on the day of the examination-

• AFCAT Admit Card/ E-Admit Card
• Applicant’s Adhaar Card
• Photo Identification apart from the Adhaar Card (Passport/Pan Card/Driver’s Licence etc)
• Two Passport size photographs should be coloured (Same as the one used at the time of AFCAT registration)
• Ballpoint pens, can either be blue or black

AFCAT Admit Card 2024: Items not permitted at the exam centre

The following items cannot be carried to the exam centre as they are prohibited. If candidates are found carrying any of these items, they can be expelled from taking the test.

• Electronic Devices such as digital watches/Mobile phones etc
• Bluetooth Devices such as cameras or microphones etc
• Wireless devices like calculators, translators, etc
• Unnecessary stationary or textual materials, anything apart from a blue or black ballpen is prohibited
• Personal Items like valuables, bags, wallets, jewellery, jackets, goggles, scarf, etc
• Snacks are also not allowed in the test centre, such as chips and chocolates

AFCAT Admit Card 2024: Highlights

• If any candidate is discovered to be in possession of any of the mentioned above items, it will be assumed that they are intent on cheating and their exam will be cancelled. The item will be seized, and the person will be prohibited from taking future AFCAT tests.
• Applicants are recommended not to bring any expensive or precious belongings to the test centres because the safety of those items cannot be assured. Any loss in this regard will not be the responsibility of IAF.
• If an applicant uses unfair methods during the exam, they will be removed from the exam and their application will be cancelled. Moreover, they will be banned from taking any exam under the IAF in the future.
• During the test or when speaking with the on-duty personnel, the candidates are expected to behave in a respectable manner. Any candidate who commits an act of indiscipline at the test facility (before, during, or after the exam) shall be disqualified from the test.
