NEET PG Cut-off 2023: National Board of Examinations (NBE) has released the NEET PG Cut-off on its official website. The cut-off was released along with the results. The NEET PG results were released on March 14, 2023, on the official website. Aarushi Narwani from VMMC and Safdarjung Hospital bagged the first spot in the examination. Further, the exam conducting body has released a separate cut-off for each category. Therefore, candidates can check the cut-off as per their category. The NEET PG cut-off refers to the minimum marks candidates need to obtain in order to qualify for the examination.
In order for candidates to qualify for the postgraduate medical entrance test, candidates are required to secure equal to more than NEET PG cut-off percentile and scores. A merit list is created based on the cutoff scores and includes applicants who will take part in counselling for All India Quota Seats. The minimum percentile for candidates in the general category is 50, whereas the minimum percentile for candidates in the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC) is 40.
Now, to participate in the seat allocation counselling process, candidates must register online. The candidate who will attain minimum scores as per the revised cut-off will be participating in the mop-up round. Those candidates are required to register online to participate in the counselling process for seat allotment.
NEET PG Cut-Off 2023
The NEET PG cut-off 2023 refers to the minimum qualifying marks obtained by a candidate in order to qualify for the exam. On the basis of the NEET PG cut-off 2023, a merit list will be prepared by the NBE. With the help of the NEET PG cut-off, candidates will be given admission to 50 per cent All India Quota (AIQ), 50% state quota, all deemed/central universities, ESIC/AMFS colleges, and private institutes. NBE is the exam conducting body and it has also released the NEET PG 2023 exam date. As per the information, the medical entrance exam will be conducted on March 5, 2023. Computer-based exams will be administered.
Candidates should be aware that securing the NEET PG cutoff does not guarantee admission into PG medical courses. Candidates are required to appear for the NEET PG counselling process based on the NEET PG merit list 2023.

Tie-Breaker Situation for NEET PG Cut-Off 2023
The exam conducting body will consider the given below methods in the case where a tie-breaker situation occurs. The tie-breaker situation happens when two students who appeared in the medical exam score the same marks.
Age of the candidate
A candidate who is older than the other candidate will be given the best merit in the case of a tie-breaker situation
Maximum aggregate marks
In the case of a tie, the candidate with the highest aggregate marks in terms of percentage across all MBBS Professional Examinations shall be given preference.
Correct responses need to be increased
Candidates will be rewarded with better merit positions if they provided more accurate answers on the question paper.
Less negative response
Candidates who are able to get the least negative marks in the NEET exam will be given a higher rank in NEET PG 2022 merit list.
NEET PG 2023 Merit List
NBE is responsible for releasing the merit list for All India Quota 50 percent seats on the official website, nbe.edu.in in PDF format. Further, candidates first have to download the merit list which consists of the candidate's roll number, category, NEET PG 2023 rank, All India 50% Quota Rank, and All India 50% Quota Category rank.
Participants in NEET PG 2023 counselling must be listed among the candidates on the merit list. These applicants must apply online for the NEET PG 2023 seat distribution.
