GPAT Counselling 2025: Date, Counselling process & Documents required

GPAT Counselling 2025: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) conducts the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) every year to provide admission into the M.Pharm programme. After the successful completion of the examination, NBEMS releases the final GPAT result and cutoff on its official website - natboard.edu.in. Candidates who have secured marks equal to or more than the cutoff, are eligible to appear for the GPAT counselling round.

Candidates must note that even though NBEMS is the exam conducting body for the GPAT exam 2025, it does not conduct the counselling round. Instead, the participating institutes conduct the counselling round after releasing their own individual cutoff lists. The total number of seats available at different institutes and their cutoff lists are bound to vary.

Candidates must be aware of the following important points regarding the GPAT counselling 2025:

• NBEMS is the exam conducting body for the GPAT exam, however it is not responsible for conducting the counselling process
• Once the final GPAT results and cutoff is released by NBEMS on its official website, the participating institutes conduct the counselling process separately and provide admissions to the eligible candidates into M.Pharm programme
• The GPAT scorecard released by NBEMS on its official website is accepted by all the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approved institutions and colleges
• In order to appear for the GPAT counselling round, candidates need to follow the due procedure
• Before participating in the counselling round, candidates must ensure that they have all the important documents like GPAT scorecard, admit card, passports-size photographs etc.

GPAT 2025 Counselling Process

In order to participate in the GPAT counselling process, candidates need to follow the following procedure:

1. Document Verification

• Institutes participating in the GPAT 2025 counselling will release their rank-wise counselling dates separately
• Candidates are advised regularly check the counselling dates as per their rank
• Then the candidates have to report to the respective institutes for GPAT counselling along with the required original documents
• Candidates must note that it’s essential for them to carry their original documents like marksheets, character certificate etc. at the time of counselling

2. Web Options Entry

• Once the documents have been verified, candidates need to visit the NBEMS GPAT website and click on the “Web Options Entry” tab
• Here, the candidates will find a list of institutes as provided by the NBEMS
• From this list, candidates need to select the institutes of their choice
• After choosing their preferred institutes, candidates need to carefully review their choices and then save and lock them
• Once the choices have been locked, no more changes can be made to them

3. Seat Allotment

• Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their score in the GPAT exam
• Candidates can download their seat allotment letter from the official website of NBEMS 

4. Reporting to the Allotted Institute

• Once the seats have been allotted to the candidates, they need to report to their respective institutes along with all the required important documents
• Only after paying the required admission fee, will the admission process be considered to be complete
