CPGET Counselling 2024: The counselling for Common Post Graduate Entrance Test (CPGET) will be conducted after the declaration of CPGET results. Candidates who have qualified the CPGET examination can register for the certificate verification and web-based counselling through the official website - cpget.tsche.ac.in. Osmania University will release the schedule for certification verification and counselling on the official website. 

CPGET counselling involves several stages including certificate verification, web-based option entry, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted college. Applicants who have cleared CPGET 2024 with the required percentage or marks are eligible to participate in the CPGET counselling for admission to postgraduate courses. 

The admission process is conducted in accordance with reservation criteria. It is mandatory for candidates to participate in the counselling process to secure admission to the participating universities. The seat distribution is as per the merit list which is prepared based on the marks secured and reservation criteria.

The CPGET counselling process is conducted after the declaration of CPGET results. The web-based counselling process takes place after certificate verification. Candidates must ensure that they are carrying all the mandatory documents required for the certificate verification process including educational qualification certificates, community or category certificates, CPGET rank card, hall ticket and others

Once candidates register for the counselling process and get their documents verified, they can enter their choices in the order of preference.  The seats are allotted to candidates after option entry. Upon the allocation of seats, candidates need to report to the allotted college to confirm their admission.

• Step 1: Visit the official website and register for online verification of certificates.
• Step 2: After creating login credentials, candidates need to pay the processing fee, and upload the original certificates.
• Step 3: There will be preliminary online verification of certificates which have been uploaded.
• Step 4: After exercising web options, there will be seat allotment.
• Step 5: Candidates need to pay the fee and download the joining report. 
• Step 6: Candidates are required to report to their allotted college along with original certificates, fee paid challan and joining report.
• Step 7: There will be verification of certificates at the college that has been allotted to the candidate. 
• Step 8: Candidates will receive the allotment order at the college.

The following documents are required for certificate verification in the CPGET counselling process : 

• CPGET Rank Card
• CPGET Admit Card
• Transfer certificate from candidate’s previous institution
• Original certificate of the qualifying examination
• Marksheet/Transcript of the qualifying examination
• Class 10 certificate
• Proof of Local/Non-local status of the applicant
• Community Certificate (if applicable)
• Income Certificate (if applicable)
• Any other relevant category certificate (if applicable)

CPGET Counselling 2024: Important Highlights

• The seats are allotted to CPGET candidates on the basis of the reservation policy and marks scored by the candidate in the entrance exam. 
• Osmania University conducts the seat allocation process for candidates who have qualified the CPGET examination.
• Candidates can enter their preferences in terms of college and course in the online registration form. College and course preferences need to be filled in correctly in the application form as the choices cannot be changed later on.
