NIT Mizoram: Josaa Seat Allotment 2024, Admission Highlights, Courses, Fees and Admission Dates

NIT Mizoram Admission 2024: NIT Mizoram admissions across various UG, PG and doctoral levels in the field of engineering. The admission process for 2024 follows standard procedures similar to other NITs in India. Admission across various courses are made on the basis of marks obtained in the national level entrance examination like JEE, UGC-NET/ CSIR-NET/ GATE respectively. The admission process is followed by students enrolling themselves in the common seat allocation and counselling process held by JoSAA, CSAB and CCMT. For admission across PhD level the college conducts its own entrance test followed by candidates appearing for the personal interview round for the relevant area of research study.

NIT Mizoram Admission 2024 - Highlights

The NIT Mizoram Admission for all UG, PG and PhD courses are on the basis of the scores obtained in the national level examinations (JEE/GATE/UGC-NET). For admissions to these courses, candidates must appear for the entrance exams and score within the cutoffs. Candidates must also check the eligibility and selection criteria mentioned below for each of the programmes offered at NIT Mizoram.

NIT Mizoram BTech Admission 2024

The BTech admission in NITs are done through the JoSAA counselling. Candidates who wish to get admitted to BTech in NIT Mizoram have to check the eligibility and selection criteria given below.

NIT Mizoram MTech Admission 2024

The admission for two year MTech is done on the basis of GATE score. Candidates must apply for CCMT, the centralised counselling for MTech.

NIT Mizoram PhD Admission 2024

The PhD admission at NITs are based on the scores of the national tests including GATE, CSIR-NET or UGC-NET. Interested candidates can also appear for the written test conducted by the institute. Those who qualify through these tests also have to appear for the interviews.

NIT Mizoram Admission 2024 - Fee Structure

NIT Mizoram offers BTech, MTech and PhD programmes in various disciplines. There are six specialisations in BTech and five in MTech. The institute also offers a dual degree for BTech and MTech. About nine departments of NIT Mizoram offer PhD programmes.

NIT Mizoram Admission Dates 2024

The NIT Mizoram Admission for the academic year 2024-25 has started. The Institute has released the list of selected candidates for the PhD courses. The last date for the payment of the fees for the newly admitted PhD candidates is June 20, 2024. 

For BTech admission at NIT Mizoram, the last date to register for JoSAA counselling and filling the preference is June 18. NTA has already released the result for the JEE Main 2024. The online registration for CCMT 2024 has started. The last date to apply for the MTech programme is June 7, 2024. Applicants can note the important dates from the tables given below.
