International students must possess an F or M visa to travel to the US to study. While F visas are issued to students in traditional academic programmes, M visas are granted to those enrolled in vocational programme

Student visas for new students can be issued up to 365 days before the start date of a course. However, students are not allowed to enter the US on your student visa more than 30 days before the start date

Upon arrival, a student has to inform the designated school official (DSO). If a student faces any issues in the University, they will have to connect with the DSO

An F student visa holder can only work when authorised by the University’s DSO in some cases and US Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in others

Foreign students may request an extension through USCIS. In case a student wants an extension, he/she must connect with DSO before the programme ends

Upon the completion of the programme, foreign students in the United States with F visas must depart the US within 60 days after the program end date
