Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, Bhadohi: IICT, or the Indian Institute of Carpet Technology Bhadohi is the only of its kind institution in Asia, founded in 2001 by the Ministry of Textile, Government of India to provide support to Textile and Carpet industries in India. 

IICT Bhadohi is affiliated with Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow and has received approval from A.I.C.T.E. Additionally, it is a member of both I.S.T.E. and CII and is recognized by the Textile Institute in Manchester, UK. The institute focuses on Human Resources Development, Design Creation and Development, Research & Development and providing technical Support Services to the Industry. 

The Indian Institute Carpet Technology campus is located in a prominent location, on the Varanasi-Bhadohi road in the city of Bhadohi, which is located between the holy cities of Prayagraj and Varanasi. Bhaodhi is 45km from Varanasi and 75km from Prayagraj offering students easy access to both locations. 

IICT Bhadohi offers a regular four-year degree B.Tech in Carpet and Textile Technology. Apart from the regular program IICT also offers certain short-term courses as per industry demand. The average tuition fee excluding the registration, Hostel and other fees is INR 55,000 per annum.

IICT Bhadohi Admission 2025

The Indian Institute of Carpet Technology, Bhadohi admissions are done through JEE Main examination. Out of a total of 60 seats, admissions for 30 seats are done through JoSAA/CSAB counseling and the remaining 30 seats are allotted through UPTAC counseling. 

Candidates, upon declaration of JEE Main examinations, must register for either JoSAA or UPTAC counseling for admission to the IICT B.Tech degree program.

• IICT Bhadohi admissions are done via JEE Main examination.
• NTA has released the JEEMain 2025 schedule, the exam will be conducted in two schedules (Schedule 1 in January and Schedule 2 in April). 
• The Schedule 1 registrations have already commenced, the last date for registration is 22nd November 2024. 
• The JEEMain 2025 schedule one exam will take place from 22nd to 31st January 2025.
