ICSI CS Syllabus 2024: The syllabus for the ICSI CS Executive, Professional programmes are laid out by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. The syllabus is released on the official website and candidates can check the details on the official website. The ICSI CS syllabus consists of all the topics which candidates need to prepare for the examination.
The ICSI CS Executive syllabus consists of 8 papers, whereas the CS Professional syllabus consists of 9 papers out of which one is elective. The CS exam is conducted twice a year. The CSEET syllabus consists of 4 parts: 7 papers at the executive level and 6 papers at the professional level including two papers as elective exams. The main aim of the syllabus is to inculcate principles, laws and interpretations at the executive level. Apart from the ICSI CS syllabus, candidates should also check CS exam pattern and marking scheme.
ICSI CS Syllabus 2024
ICSI CS is the exam for those candidates who wish to become a company secretary after class 12. The syllabus for CS included subjects such as Corporate Laws, Business Laws, Laws, Taxation Laws, Financial Management and Risk Management. Candidates must know that the exam will be conducted for 3 hours and each paper will be 100 marks.
Further, candidates must know that the syllabus for the CS executive course is different as compared to CS professional course. The CS professional consists of subjects such as Drafting, Pleadings, and Appearances, Insurance- Law and Practice, Multidisciplinary Case Studies and others. Candidates registered under the CS Executive old syllabus (2012) must compulsorily transition to the CS Executive new syllabus, according to a notification from the Institute of Company Secretaries in India (ICSI) (2017).

ICSI CS Syllabus for CSEET 2024
The ICSI releases the CSEET syllabus on its official website. Further, the syllabus along with the exam pattern is released in the form of a PDF and candidates can find the link to the document on the official website of ICSI.
Candidates must know that the CSEET comprises of four papers. CSEET paper 1 is Business Communication which is 50 marks, whereas paper 2 is Legal Aptitude and Logical Reasoning which is also of 50 marks. Paper 3 is on the subject named Economic and Business Environment and finally, paper 4 is based on Current Affairs, Presentation and Communication Skills (Viva Voce).

All papers in the Executive Program combine 20% case-based, objective-type questions with 80% descriptive questions, with the exception of Paper No. 4 (Corporate Accounting and Financial Management), which is 100% descriptive.
Students who have been registered under the professional and executive programme under the ICSI syllabus 2022 are required to successfully complete the test of pre-examination to be eligible to register and appear in the Executive and Professional exams.
