ICSI CS Exam 2025: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the exam dates for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test (CSEET), CS Executive, and CS Professional examinations for the June 2026 session. The ICSI CSEET will be held from June 1, 2026, to June 4, 2026. The institute will conduct the CS Executive and CS Professional examinations from June 1 to June 7, 2026.
The ICSI has extended the deadline to submit application forms for the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test 2026 till February 28, 2026. The CSEET June 2026 registration began on December 16, 2025. Earlier, the last date to register was set as February 15, 2026. The registration fee is Rs. 7500, while the exam fee is Rs. 1500.
The institute has released the ICSI CS Professional result (for the December 2025 session) on February 25, 2026, at 11:00 AM. The ICSI CS Executive has aslo been declared on February 25, 2026, at 2:00 PM. The examination (December session) was held from December 22 to 29, 2025. The registration process for the ICSI CS December session exam commenced on August 26, 2025, with the registration window remaining open until September 25, 2025.
ICSI conducts the Company Secretary examination twice in one year (June and December sessions). Candidates who qualify in the CS executive examination move forward to appear for the CS professional examination. Candidates who want to enrol for the CS executive exam can visit the official website to fill out the CS executive application form.
The ICSI has announced the Company Secretary Executive Entrance Test result 2025 on November 20, 2025, at icsi.edu. The CSEET result was declared at 2:00 PM for the examination held on November 8 and 10, 2025. The institute has released the ICSI CSEET result along with the candidate's subject-wise break-up of marks on the its official website, icsi.edu. The formal e-result-cum-marks statement is also uploaded on the ICSI website.

ICSI CS 2026 Exam Overview
The Company Secretaries Act of 1980 constituted the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a government-recognised organisation that trains company secretaries in India. The Company Law Board first offered the course in company secretaryship in 1960. Later, in the year 1968, the Company Law Board was replaced by the ICSI to conduct the exam. The CS programme consists of three papers: CSEET, CS Executive, and CS Professional. Candidates who wish to enrol for the CS executive programme will first have to appear and qualify in the CSEET or CS Executive Entrance Test.
ICSI CS Admit Card 2026
The ICSI CS admit card will be released on the official website. Registered candidates can visit the official website, icsi.edu, to download their admit cards using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check all the details carefully.
In order to download the ICSI CS admit card, candidates need to log in to their account, and then they can check their hall tickets. Candidates must note that the ICSI will release the admit card for both programmes separately. In order to get the hall tickets, candidates first need to enter their 17-digit registration number, and then they can obtain their hall ticket.

Stages to Become a Company Secretary
Students who would like to join the Course after 10+2 pass or equivalent have to undergo three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Course, i.e. Foundation Programme, Executive Programme, and Professional Programme.
Meanwhile, students who would like to join the Course after passing the Graduation have to undergo two stages of the examination process, i.e. Executive Programme and Professional Programme.
- Foundation Programme can be pursued by 10+2 pass or equivalent students of Arts, Science or Commerce stream (Excluding Fine Arts)
- The Executive Programme can be pursued by a Graduate of all streams except Fine Arts.
- Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of the CS Course
ICSI CS Eligibility 2026
Candidates who wish to appear for the CS Executive and Professional programme are first advised to check their eligibility criteria. Eligibility for Executive Programme
- Candidates must note that they need to qualify for the CS exam to register for the Executive Programme. However, a few exempted categories will not have to appear for the CS exam.
- To appear for the CS exam, candidates must complete their class 12.
- The candidate must not be less than 17 years on the date of application.
- Candidates who are graduates or postgraduates and qualified for direct admission to the executive programme. However, they must additionally pass the Foundation stage to take admission to the executive programme.
Eligibility for Professional Programme
- The candidate must have gone through the process of postal or oral tuition for the modules in which they want to appear for the examination.
- To be eligible for admission to the Professional Programme, a candidate must register for it nine months before the month in which the examination takes place.
- Any one or two Professional Programme modules may be taken by a candidate who has registered six months before the examination month.
ICSI CS Application Process 2026
Candidates must note that their first step towards appearing for the CS exam is filling out the CS application form. There are several steps in the application process. From filling out the form to uploading the necessary documents, candidates have to complete several steps in the application process. Once the application form is submitted and registration is closed, ICSI will then release the official admit card for the CS exam.

How to Register for the ICSI CS Executive Programme?
Step 1: Candidates first need to visit the official website, icsi.edu.
Step 2: After logging in, candidates need to check the list of documents required to fill out the application form.
Step 3: Candidates need to enter the ICSI CS unique number and roll number in the given column.
Step 4: Enter the verification code.
Step 5: Click on the submit tab.
Step 6: Now, candidates have to fill in information, including information source, details of the documents, and educational details.
Step 7: Pay the application fees.
Step 8: Click on submit.
Candidates must save the document as a confirmation of their application submission.
How to register for the ICSI Professional Programme?
Step 1:Go to the official website of the ICSI.
Step 2: Candidates need to enter their login details.
Step 3: Now, under the 'student' tab, candidates will see the 'my account', click on that.
Step 4: Now, under the “payment request” option, candidates need to click on professional registration.
Step 5: Candidates have to upload their pass mark sheet for both modules of the Executive Programme.
Step 6: Candidates have to pay Rs 1200 as the application fee.
Step 7: Candidates can now register for the letter /E-identify card.

ICSI CS Exam Pattern
