ICSI CS Exam 2024: Dates for CSEET, Executive and Professional Dates, Scorecard, Qualifying Marks, and Details Mentioned

ICSI CS Exam 2024: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) conducts the Company Secretary examination twice in one year (June and December sessions). Candidates who qualify in the CS executive examination will then move forward to appear for CS professional examination. Candidates who want to enrol for the CS executive exam can visit the official website to fill the CS executive application form. 

Latest Updates:

• Registrations for ICSI CSEET exam July session has started online at icsi.edu. The exam will be held on July 6, 2024. 
• The ICSI CSEET exam 2024 was held on May 4 and May 6. The result for the same is now available online at icsi.edu.  
• As per the latest notice, the ICSI CS executive exam will be held from June 2 to June 9, 2024.
• Meanwhile, the CS professional exam will be conducted from June 2 to June 10, 2024.
• The ICSI CS result for December 2023 session was declared on February 25, 2024. 
• Along with the result, the ICSI CS application form for December 2024 session was also released on the official website. 
• The last date to apply for the CS examination is May 31, 2024. 

Aspirants who are preparing for the CS Executive and CS Professional programmes are advised to check the syllabus from the official website. The CS syllabus for both programmes is different. Hence, candidates are advised to check the syllabus accordingly. Candidates who will clear the CS exam will be eligible to become company secretaries. The CS exam for the Executive and Professional programme takes place twice a year in the months of June and December.

ICSI CS Results 

The ICSI CS result 2024 has been declared by the ICSI at the official website on February 25, 2024. Candidates who will appear in the CS exam and want to check the results need to first log in on the website with their registration id and roll number. Once done, candidates can easily log in and their results will be displayed on the screen.

The Company Secretaries Act of 1980 constituted the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a government-recognized organisation that trains company secretaries in India. The Company Law Board first offered the course in company secretaryship in 1960. Later, in the year 1968, the Company Law Board was replaced by the ICSI to conduct the exam

ICSI CS Admit Card 2024

ICSI CS admit card 2024 is released at the official website. Registered candidates can visit the official webiste, icsi.edu, to download their admit cards using their login credentials. After downloading the admit card, candidates must check all the details carefully.

In order to download the ICSI CS admit card, candidates need to log in to their account and then they can check their hall tickets.  Candidates must note that the ICSI will release the admit card for both programmes separately. In order to get the hall tickets, candidates first need to enter their 17-digit registration number and then they can have their hall ticket. 

ICSI CS Exam Dates 2024

The CS examination is conducted two times a year. As a result, applicants are urged to keep an eye on the latest information for the future CS 2024 examination dates. Candidates interested can visit the official website and register themselves.

ICSI CS Eligibility 

Candidates who wish to appear for the CS Executive and Professional programme are first advised to check their eligibility criteria.  Further, candidates must know that the eligibility criteria for Executive and Professional programmes are completely different. Eligibility for Executive Programme

• Candidates must note that they need to qualify for the CS exam in order to make a registration for the Executive Programme. However,  a few exempted categories will not have to appear for the cs exam. 
• To appear for the CS exam, candidate must complete their class 12
• The candidate must not be less than  17 years on the date of application
• Candidates who are graduates or postgraduates and qualified for direct admission to the executive programme. However, they must additionally pass the cs in order to take admission to the executive programme.

Eligibility for Professional Programme

• The candidate must have gone through the process of postal or oral tuition for the modules in which they want to appear for the examination.  
• To be eligible for admission to the Professional Programme, a candidate must register for it nine months before the month in which the examination takes place.
• Any one or two Professional Programme modules may be taken by a candidate who has registered six months before the examination month.

ICSI CS Application Process 

Candidates must note that their first step towards appearing for the CS exam is filling out the CS application form. The CS May session registration is open now. The last date to register for the same if April 15, 2024.

There are several steps in the application process. From filling the form to uploading the necessary documents, candidates have to complete several steps in the application process. 

Once the application form is submitted and registration is closed, ICSI will then release the official admit card for the CS exam.

How to Register for ICSI CS Executive Programme 

Step 1: Candidates first need to visit the official website -- 

Step 2: After logging in, candidates need to check the list of documents required to fill out the application form

Step 3: Candidates need to enter the cs  unique number and cs roll number in the given column 

Step 4: Enter the verification code

Step 5: Click on the submit tab 

Step 6: Now, candidates have to fill in information including information source, details of the documents, and educational details.

Step 7: Pay the application fees 

Step 8: Click on submit 

Step 9: Save the document 

How to register for ICSI Professional Programme 

Step 1:Go to the official website of the ICSI 

Step 2: Candidates need to enter the login details 

Step 3: Now, under the 'student' tab candidates will see the 'my account'  -- click on that 

Step 4: Now, under the “payment request” option, candidates need to click on professional registration 

Step 5: Candidates have to upload their pass mark sheet for both modules of the Executive Programme

Step 6: Candidates have to pay Rs 1200 as the application fees 

Step 7: Candidates can now registration letter /E-identify card

ICSI CS Exam Pattern

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) will prescribe the ICSI CS exam pattern for the upcoming exam. The exam pattern will be released on the official website. To have a thorough preparation, candidates should check the exam pattern.  The CS exam has three modules - cs, CS Executive and CS Professional.  The executive module of the exam consists of negative marking whereas the professional module does not consist of negative marking.
