ICSI CS Exam Pattern 2023: ICSI CS exam pattern is counted as one of the most essential factors that a candidate must consider while preparing for the CS exam. The exams began on June 1 and will come to an end on June 10, 2023.
Candidates should note that the CS exam will be conducted in offline mode, which means candidates have to appear at the exam centre in order to give the examination. Candidates should further know that the CS exam has two modules - Executive and Professional. The executive module of the exam consists of negative marking whereas the professional module does not consist of negative marking.

CSEET Exam Pattern
The CSEET examination will be held as an online proctored examination. The exam will be of two hours and consists of 200 marks. ICSI CS Marking scheme
Before appearing for the examination, candidates are advised to check the marking scheme of the ICSI exams including both the programmes - ICSI CS Executive Programme and ICSI CS Professional Programme.
Marking Scheme for CS Executive Programme
The marking scheme for the CS Executive programme has been further divided into two parts. While there is a different marking scheme for descriptive questions, ICSI provides a different marking scheme for objective questions.
For descriptive questions - There is no negative marking for questions which have a descriptive mode.
For objective questions - Questions which are objective in nature will have 0.25 marks deducted for wrong responses and 1 mark will be given for correct answers.
Marking Scheme for CS Professional Programme
According to the official exam pattern, the professional programme will not have any negative marking for any incorrect answers, whereas every correct answer will be awarded two marks.
ICSI Qualifying Marks for Executive and Professional Programme
Candidates must know that the qualifying marks for the CS executive and professional programme is set as a minimum of 40 % marks, whereas candidates are required to score 50% marks in the aggregate of all subjects.

ICSI CS Medium of Executive/Professional Exam 2023
The CS examination will be conducted in both the languages Hindi and English. The ICSI will be conducted in offline mode only. Candidates are advised to check the official notification released by the ICSI on the official website.
