What's New in UPSC CMS 2023? The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the final marks of recommended candidates. The result PDF was released on upsc.gov.in. 

UPSC conducted UPSC CMS exam 2023 on July 16, 2023. The exam was conducted in two shifts.  While the first shift was conducted for Paper – I (Code No. 1) - General Medicine and Paediatrics from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the second shift for papers including surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics and Preventive & Social Medicine was conducted from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. 

UPSC CMS exam 2023 has two levels. Those students who will qualify the first level will be then eligible to appear for level 2 which is the UPSC CM personality test. The UPSC CM personality test exam date 2023 is yet to be released. 

UPSC CMS Exam 2023: Union Public Service Commission conducted the UPSC Combined Medical Service Examination. UPSC on April 19, 2023, released the UPSC official notification 2023. As per the notification, UPSC CMS Exam 2023 dates have been released on the official webiste. The UPSC CMS exam 2023 was conducted on July 16, 2023.  The exam will be conducted in two shifts for Paper 1 and 2.

If a candidate fails to bring their hall ticket, then he or she will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

UPSC CMS Syllabus 2023

UPSC CMS syllabus 2023 is released by the UPSC. The syllabus is released along with the UPSC CMS notification 2023. UPSC CMS Syllabus consists of two parts. While the first of the syllabus is the UPSC CMS written test, whereas the second part is the UPSC CMS Personality test. Further, the UPSC CMS part I syllabus is further divided into two papers. Paper 1 consists of two subjects. On the other hand, UPSC CMS part I paper 2 consists of 3 subjects.

UPSC CMS Exam Pattern 2023 

Apart from studying syllabus 2023, candidates should also study UPSC CMS exam pattern 2023. UPSC exam pattern which is also known as UPSC CMS scheme is released by UPSC. The exam pattern is released along with the UPSC official notification. The main aim of the exam pattern is to describe UPSC CMS negative marking, exam duration and other such topics. • UPSC CMS exam has two parts - written exam and a personality test 
• The exam consists of UPSC CMS negative marking. This means that 1.3 marks will be deducted for each wrong questions
• UPSC CMS time duration for part 1 - Paper 1 and 2 is 2 hours 
• Candidates who will clear the UPSC CMS written exam will be eligible to appear for the interview stage.
• The UPSC CMS written exam for both the paper will take place in MCQ format and the question paper will be set in English language only.

UPSC CMS Result 2023

UPSC CMS result 2023 will be released on the official webiste. UPSC will release the result in PDF format which will contain the roll numbers and marks of the shortlisted candidates. Those candidates who will qualify for the UPSC CMS written test will then be eligible to appear for the UPSC CMS interview round 2023. UPSC CMS Final Result 2023 will be declared after the successful conduction of the interview round.

Since UPSC CMS written test has two papers, candidates have to qualify for both papers which will further make them eligible to appear for the UPSC CMS exam 2023. Also, UPSC has a tie-breaking policy which means that in case two or more candidates score the same marks, they will have to go through the tie-breaking policy and those students will have first preference who are elder than the other candidate.
