Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the lists of Exam Centres for Prelims and Mains of the Civil Service Examination (CSE). There are 80 centres for prelims, 24 for mains and one for the interview.

UPSC IAS Exam Center 2024:  The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) conducts the Civil Service Examination (CSE) at the list of centres released by the Commission for all three levels of the examination. The Exam Centres list was given in the official CSE Exam notification released on February 14, 2024.

The UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2024 is scheduled on June 16, 2024. The CSE Mains Exam starts from September 20, 2024. Candidates have to choose centres for prelims and mains separately while filling the registration form.  The allotment of centres will be on a first come, first allot basis. UPSC has listed 80 centres for the CSE prelims and 24 for the CSE Mains Examinations. Candidates must notice that the centres for prelims and mains are different. The Commission can change the number of centres at its own discretion.

UPSC has released a notification regarding the change of ‘Imphal (Manipur) Centre’ on April 5, 2024. UPSC has issued the notification on the orders of the Delhi High Court. Candidates who have opted for the Imphal Centre for the Preliminary Examination to be held on June 16, 2024 can choose any of the 80 notified centres for the prelims. The option to change the centre from Imphal will be available from April 8, 2024 to April 19, 2024. 

UPSC has given a detailed notification on how the applicant can change the centre from Imphal, Manipur to any of the 80 notified centres for the IAS prelims 2024.Email and SMS will be sent to all the candidates who have opted for Imphal Centre on the registered email address and the mobile numbers.Applicants can change the centre by any of the following method.

  • Applicants can change the exam centre from Imphal to any other centre on the official website of the UPSC from April 8 to April 19, 2024.
  • Applicants can also request the change of centre on toll free number 1800118711 on all working days from April 8 to April 19, 2024 between 10 AM and 5 PM.
  • The candidates can also request centre change on email from April 8  to April 19, 2024. The email id for the same is uscsp-upsc@nic.in.

UPSC Civil Services Mains Examination will be conducted from September 20, 2024. There are 24 centres for the mains exam. Students who clear the prelims exam will be qualified for the IAS Mains Exams. The list of centres for the mains exam is given below:

UPSC CSE Personality Test or the Interview is the third stage of the IAS Examination. Candidates who clear the prelims and the Mains Exams qualify for the Interview round.

The Interview is held at the UPSC office, Dholpur House, New Delhi.
