Vignan's Foundation for Science, Technology and Research (VFSTR) is a deemed-to-be university located in Vadlamudi, Guntur district, Andhra Pradesh, India. The institution can trace its origins back to 1997, when it was established as Vignan's Engineering College directed by Dr. Lavu Rathaiah, a quintessential educationist and founder of the Vignan group. The college earned a reputation for academic excellence and student-centric education in engineering and technology very quickly. In recognition of the remarkable performance of the institution, the University Grants Commission (UGC) granted deemed-to-be university status in 2008.

Vignan University was set up with the vision of harnessing talent and encouraging creativity in science, engineering, technology and management. Vignan University Admission 2025

Vignan University  is well-known for providing its students with the best B.tech and MBA programs. Course admissions will be granted on the basis of entrance exam results or merit. Vignan University VSAT admission

Vignan Scholastic Aptitude Test (VSAT) is an online entrance exam conducted by Vignan University. The entrance exam is for admission to the B.Tech programs in the university. Candidates are eligible for the exam after completing 10+2 or currently pursuing 10+2 with 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology in integral part. The breakdown of the syllabus is Mathematics/Biology for 30, Physics 30, Chemistry 30, English 30 and Reasoning or Thinking Ability 10. The examination has a total of 120 multiple choice questions, total of 120 marks and there is no negative marking. Examination is conducted on the third weekend of April every year across various centers across India. Admissions are based on VSAT rank, and if candidates do not take VSAT, the other qualifying exams are JEE or EAMCET. VSAT Rankers with top rank are also eligible for scholarships with a waiver of up to 100% tuition fee. Applications must be made online on the university website.

Vignan University P.hD admissions

Vignan University (VFSTR), Guntur, follows a systematic admission procedure for PhD by its Doctor of Philosophy Regulations and notifications annually released by the university. For the academic session 2023–24, applications were invited in a prescribed format, initially submitted to Dean, Research & Development,Vignan's Vadlamudi campus.The candidates were evaluated either by PhD Entrance Test conducted by the university or exempted for valid NET/GATE/UGC-JRF scores. After evaluation, separate provisional and final merit lists were published for both entrance based applicants and exempted applicants in the university's official website. As per the university's PhD eligibility criteria, a candidate should have qualified a master's degree in relevant subject with minimum aggregate 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD) , or PGDM with two years full-time experience in relevant discipline.
