Thapar University Admission 2025: The applications for B.Tech courses offered by Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) are now open for the academic session 2025-26. Thapar University is now accepting applications for B Tech admissions for the 2025 academic session. The last date to apply is 8th May 2025. Admission will be based on JEE MAIN Rank and 12th Class Percentage.

Interested candidates should have completed their 3-year BA program from a recognized university with at least 50% marks in the relevant subjects.

Eligibility Criteria - Interested candidates must have completed their  BE/BTech degree with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate.

Selection Criteria - The final selection process will be based on GATE scores.

Eligibility Criteria -  Interested students must have done their masters from any discipline with 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent grades.

Students must have studied the relevant subjects in their post-graduation for different specializations.

Selection Criteria - Final selection includes - 

Appearing for a university-level qualifying exam including a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Interview Round.

The candidates who have qualified for any of these exams  UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ GPAT/ SLET will receive a monthly fellowship of around 20,000/-
