IIIT Delhi: Admission, Placements, Courses & Fees

Created by an act of the Delhi Legislature, the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi (IIIT Delhi) is a UGC-accreditated State University in New Delhi, India. IIIT Delhi is a provisional membership granted by The Association of Indian Universities, and approved by AICTE. IIIT Delhi secured the 85th position in the engineering category by NIRF Ranking 2024.

IIIT Delhi offers undergraduate, postgraduate, dual, and doctoral degrees in engineering, computational biology, humanities, and social sciences. The flagship course offered at IIIT Delhi is B.Tech. IIIT Delhi B.tech. admission mandates a Higher Secondary Certificate (10 + 2) degree with 70% marks in aggregate and 70% marks in Maths. Entry in B.Tech. programs will be through JAC. Applicants also require a valid national-level scorecard (JEE Main/UCEED) released by the NTA. After this seats will be allocated as per the DASA Counselling. IIIT Delhi’s total actual student strength under the UG program was 1910 in 2023. The tuition fee for the academic year 2020-21 was INR 4,50,000 per semester.

IIIT Delhi Ph.D. Admission 2025

IIIT Delhi offers Ph.D. programs to candidates who have completed their undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from a recognized university. The institute also allows Ph.D. students to change their course to M.Tech. if they had only completed their B.Tech. degree before enrolling in the Ph.D. program.
