Educational Eligibility: To be eligible for consideration, the applicant must possess a bachelor's degree with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade. This degree should hold recognition from an accredited institution within India. Additionally, the candidate's bachelor's degree should signify a duration of no less than three years of academic pursuit after the successful completion of higher secondary schooling (10+2) or its corresponding educational attainment.

Age Criterion: The applicant's age should not surpass 50 years. However, this age limit varies for individuals in government service. If the applicant is a Central/State government employee, they should not exceed 45 years of age to be eligible for sponsorship consideration from NeGD, MeitY.

Professional Work Experience: Candidates are expected to possess a minimum of three years of full-time work experience at an officer or executive level, or a higher position. For Central/State government employees aiming for NeGD, MeitY sponsorship, a tenure of five years within Group A or Group B is required. This work experience should be gained as a professional or an entrepreneur in any industry, and part-time roles, clerical positions without officer/executive responsibilities, and apprenticeships will not qualify as eligible work experience.
