Birla Institute of Technology, Deoghar: Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra established an off-campus institute in Deogarh at the request of the government of Jharkhand in 2007. It is one of the eight BIT campuses situated across the country. BIT Deoghar provides undergraduate courses in Engineering and Technology. 

BIT Deoghar offers several undergraduate courses in Engineering like B.Tech and other degree programs like BBA and BCA. Birla Institute of Technology's main campus is located in Ranchi, the capital city of Jharkhand, founded in 1955 making it one of India’s oldest private Engineering colleges. 

BIT Mesra was founded to establish itself as a globally recognized academic institution that aligns with social, economic, and ecological contexts, while continuously pursuing excellence in education, research, and technological services to meet national needs.

BIT Deoghar campus has eight departments providing different specialization of courses. The departments of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Humanities are the major departments at BIT Deoghar.

Birla Institute of Technology Deoghar admissions in various courses are based on the JEE Mains exams for several B.Tech courses. Various courses offered by BIT Mesra Deoghar campus with eligibility criteria are mentioned below, candidates applying for these courses must meet the following criteria before applying for BIT Mesra Deoghar.

JEE Mains registrations for the January session are live, willing candidates can apply till the last date,i.e 22nd November, 2024. The JEE Mains exam is scheduled between 22nd January to 31st January 2024.

BIT Mesra Deoghar Infrastructure

Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, features modern infrastructure and facilities that support the overall growth of students. The BIT Mesra Central Library serves as a valuable resource for knowledge, promoting education in various forms and meeting the diverse information needs of its users. This advanced facility supports hybrid learning with a wide range of print and digital resources.

The library: The library at BIT Deoghar currently holds 150,000 print volumes and offers access to over 120,000 e-journals and e-books. It is fully automated and integrated with modern technology. Users can access a variety of e-books, e-journals, e-archives, and other useful digital resources remotely from any device.

Hostel: Students are housed separately in 11 hostels for boys and 3 hostels for girls. The hostel facilities feature dining halls, reading rooms, entertainment areas with televisions, independent mess halls, and common rooms equipped for indoor games.

Sports and Other Facilities: The campus offers a variety of sports facilities to help students maintain a healthy lifestyle. Academic activities at the institute take place in classrooms and over 65 specialized laboratories. These labs are equipped with the latest technologies and equipment, which are regularly updated.
