UPTET Cut off 2024: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB) is responsible for releasing the UPTET cut off. The cut off will be released on the official website - updeled.gov.in. Once the results are announced, the education body will release the cut off for the exam. The UPTET cut off refers to the minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities that a candidate needs to qualify for the exam. 

Candidates must note that the minimum qualifying marks are different for candidates belonging to different categories. The UPTET exam is a teaching eligibility test which determines whether the candidate is eligible to become a teacher. 

Candidates who successfully qualify the exam are eligible to get the UPTET certificate. However, candidates must note that the certificate does not guarantee a job. It only makes the candidate eligible to apply for the post of teacher in government schools in Uttar Pradesh. 

UPTET Cut Off 2024 

After the UPBEB will declare the results, the education body will also release the UPTET cut off 2024. The cut off will be released in the PDF format which candidates can check online. The UPTET cut-off will be based on several factors including the difficulty of the exam, the number of candidates who appeared for the exam and category of the candidate.

There is no limit on the number of attempts in UPTET exam. Candidates can appear as many times as they want. 

What is the UPTET passing percentage for General category?

UPTET passing percentage for General category candidates is 60 per cent, that is, 90 marks out of 150.

What is the UPTET passing percentage for candidates belonging to SC/ST category?

The passing percentage for SC/ST category is 55 per cent, that is, 82 marks out of 150.
