UPTET 2023 Exam: Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority conducts the UPTET 2023. UPTET Notification 2023 is expected to be released in the last week of June. UPTET 2023 is for thsoe candidates who wish to become a teacher and teach students of class 1 to 8 in the schools of Uttar Pradesh. UPTET exam has two levels. While UPTET 2023 level 1 is for those candidates who wish to teach students of classes 1 to 5, whereas UPTET 2023 level 2 is for those who wish to teach students of class 6 to 8. Candidates who wish to teach classes 1 to 8 appear for both UPTET 2023 papers.
The first step towards appearing for the UPTET exam is to check the eligibility for the exam. Once the candidate completes the eligibility for the examination, then he or she is eligible to fill out the UPTET registration form for the examination. After filling out the registration form successfully and submitting the fees, candidates will be eligible to get their UPTET 2023 admit card. Candidates who will get their admit card will be eligible to appear for the teacher eligibility test.
When the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board will release the official notification, it will consist of all the important information including the exam dates, admit card release dates and other information. Candidates need to score a minimum qualifying percentage in order to clear the examination.
UPTET Exam 2023
UPTET is the teacher eligibility exam which determines whether the candidate is eligible to become a teacher. The test is conducted in offline mode and takes place once a year. Candidates who will qualify for the teacher eligibility test will get the UPTET certificate which will be valid for a lifetime. The duration of the teacher eligibility test is 2.5 hours and will be conducted in both Hindi and English language. UPTET Application Process
The UPTET application will be released on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB), the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA). A candidate must complete a series of steps to fill the UPTET application form. Candidates can easily view the application form's direct link. It is expected that the UPTET application form would be released soon. However, the authorities have not yet provided an official date for the release of the application form. Candidates won't be able to sit in the examination hall if they don't complete out the application.

UPTET Admit Card
The UPTET hall tickets will be released by the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB). The admit card for UPTET will be released on the UPTET official website. Candidates can download the UPTET hall tickets by logging into their registered accounts. Those applicants who successfully register for the UPTET exam will be eligible to receive their admit card. To obtain the hall ticket, candidates must enter their registration number and password.

UPTET Exam Syllabus
The UPTET syllabus will be prescribed by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA) on the official website. Candidates must note that the UPTET exam has been further divided into two papers - Paper 1 and Paper 2. Hence, the syllabus for both papers 1 and 2 are different.
UPTET Paper 1 has 5 subjects, whereas Paper 2 has 4 subjects. Subjects of UPTET paper 1 are Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. On the other hand, paper 2 of UPTET has 4 subjects including Child Development and Methodology and Pedagogy, Language 1, Language 2, Maths/Science/Social science.
UPTET Exam Pattern

UPTET Results
The UPTET results will be released by the Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA) on the official website. In order to check the results, candidates need to log in using their registration number and the received one-time password. Candidates will be considered qualified for the exam if they achieve the minimum marks set by the educational body.
Since the UPTET result is an essential document it consists of several important pieces of information about the candidate including the candidate's name, DOB, candidate's category, date of result declaration and others.
However, candidates must note that before the release of results, the education body will release the answer key. There are two types of results - provisional answer key and final answer key.
UPTET Cut-Off
The UPTET cut-off will be released by the Exam Regulatory Authority, Uttar Pradesh. The cut-off will be released after the declaration of UPTET results. The UPTET cut-off refers to the minimum qualifying marks set by the authorities that a candidate needs to score to qualify for the exam.
Further, candidates should note that the cut-off will vary for candidates belonging to different categories. The UPTET cut-off will be released in the form of a PDF. Further, if the candidates will not be able to score the qualifying cut-off, he or she will not be eligible to qualify for the examination.

UPTET Certificate Validity
Once the candidate has qualified for the UPTET exam, he or she will be eligible to get the UPTET qualifying certificate. Earlier, the validity of the certificate was 5 years. However, after the announcement made by the former Minister of Education of India, Ramesh Pokhariyal, the validity of all the TET has been now extended to a lifetime.
Candidates must know that the UPTET certificate does not guarantee a job to the candidate. However, it only makes them eligible to apply for the position of teacher in private or government schools in Uttar Pradesh.
