TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024: Date, Scorecard, Merit List, Rank List

TNPSC Group 4 Result 2024 will be announced by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) likely in July 2024. The result indicates the list of shortlisted candidates for the TNPSC counselling round. The result is announced in the form of a scorecard containing the marks obtained by candidates in the written examination.

The commission also releases the cutoff marks. The TNPSC cutoff is the minimum mark that candidates must obtain in order to qualify for the next round. The commission also publishes the merit list of candidates who cleared the cutoff and are eligible for the counselling round. It must be noted that the cutoff marks are released post-wise by the commission on its official website.

Before the announcement of the result, the commission also released the TNPSC Answer Key which is provisional in nature. Any candidate who is not satisfied with the answer the commission has provided against a particular question may challenge the answer key.

Candidates who appeared for the TNPSC Group 4 exam can check the result on the official website of the commission. The steps below to check the result are as follows:

• Visit the official website of TNPSC
• Click on the Latest Results tab
• The list of posts for which results have been announced will appear on the screen.
• Check the post for which you took the examination and click the link against it.
• The result will appear on your screen
• Download and save the result
• Take a printout for future reference.

The result is announced by the commission on its official website. Candidates must check the following details after downloading the result PDF:

• Name
• Roll Number
• Registration Number
• Marks scored by candidates

Note: The result also contains the list of reserve candidates. Only after receiving a proposal from the government or HOD for the allocation of a replacement from the reserve list, the candidates on the reserve list will be taken into consideration from the relevant categories in order to fill any regular vacancies caused, if any, by any of the following reasons:

• Candidates selected but not reporting for duty.
• Selected applicants who reported for duty but afterwards departed.
• Cancellation of the provisional selection of the candidate for whatever reason

TNPSC Group 4 rank list is released on the official website of the commission. The rank list is nothing but a merit list published by the commission containing the names of shortlisted candidates. The candidates are shortlisted if they clear the minimum TNPSC cutoff released by the commission. The rank list is released along with the result. Candidates who scored highest will be ranked first in the rank list.
