RBI Grade B Pattern 2023

The RBI Grade B exam is conducted in two phases:

RBI Grade B Phase 1: This is the preliminary phase of the RBI Grade B exam. It is an objective type exam comprising sections such as General Awareness, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning. The purpose of Phase 1 is to shortlist candidates for the next stage based on their performance in this exam.

RBI Grade B Phase 2: This is the main phase of the RBI Grade B exam. It is a combination of both objective and descriptive-type questions. The Phase 2 exam assesses candidates' knowledge of Economic and Social Issues, Finance and Management, and English (Writing Skills). Successful candidates from Phase 1 move on to Phase 2, and the final selection is based on their performance in this stage, followed by a personal interview.

RBI Grade B DR (General) Exam Pattern: Phase 1

The RBI Grade B Phase-I serves as the initial screening stage, and its score is not directly considered for the final selection. However, candidates' performance in Phase-I determines their eligibility to proceed to Phase-II and the interview rounds. The final selection for RBI Grade B is based on the combined performance in Phase-II and the interview rounds.

RBI Grade B DR (General) Exam Pattern: Phase 2

This phase is also an objective-type exam with a mix of MCQs and descriptive questions. Except for the English language section, all of the Phase-II exam's questions will be offered in both Hindi and English. 

The Phase-II examination comprises both objective and descriptive sections, and is conducted online. The scores obtained in this phase are considered for the RBI Grade B Final selection process.
