JKPSC Exam Pattern 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) conducts various recruitment examinations to select candidates for prestigious positions in the state government. Through this exam, candidates are recruited for various job roles ranging from Administrative Services, Accounts Services, and Police Services amongst others. To excel in these exams, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the JKPSC pattern. 

The JKPSC KAS exam is conducted in three rounds, which are Prelims, Mains, and finally an Interview. Prelims is the first round of the selection process and those well in are further selected for Mains and Interview rounds.   • This is an objective-type examination comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that tests the candidates' general knowledge and aptitude. 
  • This round will face a negative marking system

Candidates who clear the Main Examination are shortlisted for the final stage of the selection process—the Interview. The Interview is conducted to evaluate the personality, communication skills, and overall suitability of the candidates for the desired position. It is essential for candidates to present themselves confidently and demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter during the interview. Apart from technical knowledge, the interview panel also assesses the candidates' awareness of current affairs, socio-economic issues, and their ability to think critically.
