JKPSC Exam Pattern 2024: The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission (JKPSC) conducts various recruitment examinations to select candidates for prestigious positions in the state government. Through this exam, candidates are recruited for various job roles ranging from Administrative Services, Accounts Services, and Police Services amongst others. To excel in these exams, it is crucial to have a clear understanding of the JKPSC pattern. 

The JKPSC KAS exam is conducted in three rounds, which are Prelims, Mains, and finally an Interview. Prelims is the first round of the selection process and those well in are further selected for Mains and Interview rounds. JKPSC Prelims Pattern 2024

As stated above, Prelims is the first round of the JKPSC 2024 selection process. Those who perform well in this particular round are further selected for the Mains and Interview rounds. Check below for JKPSC KAS Prelims highlights:

• This is an objective-type examination comprising multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that tests the candidates' general knowledge and aptitude. 
• This round will face a negative marking system
• JKPSC KAS Prelims will include two papers: General Studies I and General Studies II
• Applicants will be allotted 2 hours to complete each paper 
• Both papers will be worth 200 marks each
• The number of marks a candidate received in the preliminary examination is just a requirement for advancement to the next stages. This indicates that this score has no bearing on the applicant's overall final score

JKPSC Mains Pattern 2024

The Main Examination is a written examination consisting of descriptive papers. It assesses the candidates' knowledge, analytical abilities, and understanding of various subjects. The JKPSC Main Examination pattern varies based on the specific service for which the candidate is applying. JKPSC Interview Pattern 2024

Candidates who clear the Main Examination are shortlisted for the final stage of the selection process—the Interview. The Interview is conducted to evaluate the personality, communication skills, and overall suitability of the candidates for the desired position. It is essential for candidates to present themselves confidently and demonstrate their understanding of the subject matter during the interview. Apart from technical knowledge, the interview panel also assesses the candidates' awareness of current affairs, socio-economic issues, and their ability to think critically. • The JKPSC Personality Test is administered by reputable and experienced government representatives. 
• Those who perform well in the final round are recruited for the registered job post
• A total of 250 marks are allotted for the JKPSC interview round
• No more than three times as many applicants will be called for the Personality Test (interview) as there are JKPSC vacancies to fill.
