HPSC Eligibility 2023: Educational Qualification
The first aspect of the HPSC eligibility criteria is the minimum educational qualification. Students who wish to appear for the HPSC HCS exam must possess a bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized board or university. Students who are in the final year of their graduation can also apply for the exam. However, students must possess a passing certificate before the interview & document verification process.
Note: It must be noted that students who are diploma holders are not eligible to apply for the Haryana Civil Service Examination.
HPSC Eligibility 2023: Age Limit
Candidates who wish to appear for the Haryana Civil Service Examination must fall within the prescribed age limit. As per the HPSC eligibility criteria, the minimum and maximum age limit to apply for different posts except Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) for the General Category student is 18 years and 42 years, respectively. The maximum age limit to apply for the DSP post is 27 years.

HPSC Exam 2023: DSP Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who aspire to be recruited as Deputy Superintendent of Police in the Haryana Police Department must meet the eligibility requirements. The eligibility requirements for the post of DSP vary slightly from those for other positions. The maximum age for applying for a DSP position is 27 years. HPSC Eligibility 2023: Number of Attempts
The Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has not established a limited number of examination attempts for applicants. The applicants may take the examination until the age limit prevents them from doing so.

Students who wish to take the HPSC HCS examination must meet the Haryana Public Service Commission's (HPSC) domicile requirements. To apply for the Haryana Civil Service Examination, candidates must be an Indian citizen. Candidates from any state other than Haryana are also eligible to apply. Candidates with a Haryana domicile, however, are eligible for age relaxation and reservation.
