CISF Salary 2024: In-hand Salary, Promotion, Rank, Allowances

CISF Salary 2024 is released by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) along with the notification. The CISF salary 2024 varies for each post. In accordance with the Pay Level-4 structure, the CISF Head Constable salary ranges from Rs.25,500 to Rs.81,100/- in addition to the usual allowances that may be applicable to employees of the Central Government as and when they become available. Candidates selected for the Central Government service on or after January 1, 2004, shall be eligible for pensionary benefits under the "Defined Contributory Pension System".

There are certain deductions from the CISF gross salary. The CISF in-hand salary for Head Constable lies in the range of INR 21,700 – INR 61,100. The in-hand salary may vary depending on the city the candidate has been allotted. There are three different types of City zones: City-X, City-Y, and City-Z.

CISF Salary 2024: Perks & Allowances

There are various additional perks and allowances given to candidates after joining the CISF. The salary includes Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Travel Allowance. The allowances and benefits may differ depending on where the joinee is posted. The joining cities are divided into three categories: City X, City Y, and City Z.

Dearness Allowance

The Dearness Allowance (DA) is an allowance provided by the government to its employees aimed at mitigating the impact of inflation and ensuring that the real income of employees is protected. At City X, the dearness allowance is around 27%. In City Y and City Z, the dearness allowance is 18% and 9%, respectively.

House Rent Allowance

The house rent allowance is given to CISF employees by the central government to support their accommodation. The house rent may also vary depending on the city classification. CISF personnel posted in City X receive a higher House Rent Allowance (HRA) than those who are posted in City Y and City Z.

Travel Allowance

CISF personnel also receive a travel allowance with their salary. It is to be noted that the travel allowance is paid on a per-trip basis.
