CISF Salary 2023: Perks & Allowances
There are various additional perks and allowances given to candidates after joining the CISF. The salary includes Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Travel Allowance. The allowances and benefits may differ depending on where the joinee is posted. The joining cities are divided into three categories: City X, City Y, and City Z.
Dearness Allowance
The Dearness Allowance (DA) is an allowance provided by the government to its employees aimed at mitigating the impact of inflation and ensuring that the real income of employees is protected. At City X, the dearness allowance is around 27%. In City Y and City Z, the dearness allowance is 18% and 9%, respectively.
House Rent Allowance
The house rent allowance is given to CISF employees by the central government to support their accommodation. The house rent may also vary depending on the city classification. CISF personnel posted in City X receive a higher House Rent Allowance (HRA) than those who are posted in City Y and City Z.
Travel Allowance
