According to the CISF exam pattern, the exam is divided into 4 sections: General Intelligence, General Reasoning, Arithmetic/Quantitative Aptitude, and General English/Hindi. All questions asked in the CISF exam 2025 are of objective type. There is no negative marking in the CISF exam for Head Constable and other posts. The duration of the CISF head constable exam is 2 hours and the total number of questions will be 100 (25 questions in each section).
Students preparing for the exam must be aware of the exam pattern along with the CISF syllabus 2025. The questions asked in the CISF exam are of 10+2 or 10th level depending upon the post candidate applied for.
After the examination is conducted and CISF result 2025 is released, skill tests and detailed medical examinations will also be conducted. Candidates must qualify both CISF Skill Test and medical examination to make it into the final merit list. CISF Exam Pattern 2025: Constable Driver
Candidates who wish to get recruited for the position of CISB Constable Driver have to go through Height Bar Test, Physical Standard Test, and Document Verification. After the document verification process, a driving test will also be conducted. Applicants are required to achieve the minimum qualifying marks in the CISF driving test. CISF Exam Pattern 2025: Tradesman
As per CISF Constable Tradesman exam pattern, the recruitment process is of two stages:
- PST/PET, Documentation & Trade Test.
- OMR Based /CBT mode written examination which will be bilingual i.e. Hindi & English.
Note: The trade test will be conducted for the job post candidate has chosen. For example, if a candidate wishes to apply for a position of a cook, then he should know Cooking of Chapati & Rice, Cooking of vegetables/Dal/Samber / Idli etc., and Cooking of Meat/Fish/Egg/Kheer, etc. Similarly for other posts like Cobbler, Tailor, Sweeper, and Barber, aspirants have to showcase their skills and achieve minimum qualifying marks.
