GPAT Answer Key 2024: Steps to download & how to raise challenges

GPAT Answer Key 2024: The National Board of Examinations (NBE) has issued the provisional answer key of the Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) exam on the official website - natboard.edu.in. Candidates who are not satisfied with the responses can raise their challenges against the provisional GPAT answer key between June 15 and 27, 2024. 

Candidates will have to make the payment of the non-refundable online payment of Rs 200/- per question charged as processing charges. The examination authority will release the GPAT result by July 8, 2024. The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to GPAT answer keys after the declaration of the result will be entertained.

How to check GPAT Answer Key 2024?

Candidates can check the GPAT answer key through NBEMS's official website with the help of the following steps:

• Visit the official website of GPAT
• Click on the link "GPAT 2024 Answer Key Challenge"
• Log into your candidate account using your application number and password/date of birth and enter the given security pin 
• To view your marked responses, click on the link “View Question Paper” 
• To view the provisional answer key, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”
• The provisional GPAT answer key 2024 will then be displayed on the screen

How to calculate marks using GPAT Answer Key 2024?

Candidates can use the official GPAT answer key, to calculate their score in the examination. In order to calculate their marks, candidates need to consider the following points:

• There are a total of 125 questions in the exam and the total marks are 500
• 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer
• 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer
• No marks are given for unattempted questions

While calculating their marks using the answer key, candidates need to add 4 marks for every correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each wrong answer.

How to challenge GPAT Answer Key 2024?

In case of any discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key, candidates can challenge the answer key through the NBEMS's official website. Candidates must note that once the GPAT results are out, the final answer key cannot be challenged. The steps to challenge the provisional GPAT answer key 2024 have been mentioned below:

• Go to the official website - natboard.edu.in
• Click on the link "GPAT 2024 Answer Key Challenge"
• Next, log into your candidate account using your application number and password/date of birth and enter the given security pin 
• To view your marked responses, click on the “View Question Paper” option
• To view or challenge the answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”
• In the provisional answer key, the Question IDs will be given in sequential order and the ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be used by NBEMS
• In order to challenge a particular option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box
• After selecting the desired option, scroll down, click on ‘Save your Claims’ and move to the next screen
• Next, all the Option IDs that you have challenged will be displayed on your screen
• To upload documents supporting your claims, select ‘Choose File’ and upload the required documents in a single PDF file format
• Then, click on ‘Save your Claims and pay fee' or if you wish to modify your claims click on ‘Modify your Claims’
• Once you have saved your claims, all your challenges will be displayed on the screen
• Next, pay the required processing fee (Rs 200/- per question) by clicking on ‘Pay Fee’ option
• Payment of the processing fees can be made through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking

Candidates must note that the GPAT result will be released after considering all the challenges made by the candidates in the provisional answer keys. The examination authority also informed that no grievance with regard to final GPAT Answer Key(s) after declaration of Result of GPAT will be entertained. The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered for computation of the GPAT result and generation of GPAT scores & merit.
