GPAT Answer Key 2024: Check Steps to Download & Marks Calculation

GPAT Answer Key 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) releases the GPAT answer key a few days after the completion of the GPAT exam. Candidates can download the GPAT answer key from the official NTA GPAT website. Along with the provisional GPAT answer key, NTA will also release the response sheets which will contain the responses given by the candidates in the exam. Candidates who are not satisfied with the GPAT answer key can challenge the provisional answer key within the stipulated time. Candidates can challenge the answer key by visiting the official website of NTA. The fee to challenge the GPAT answer key 2024 is Rs 200/- per question. It must be noted that the processing fee remitted by the candidates is non-refundable.

If a candidate fails to remit the answer key challenge fee or misses the last date for submission of challenges against the GPAT answer key, their challenges will not be entertained by the NTA. It must also be noted that apart from the NTA's official website, challenges sent through any other medium will also not be entertained by the NTA. 

Candidates must note that NTA releases two types of answer keys, that is, provisional and final. The provisional answer key is released a few days after the examination whereas the final answer key is released along with the GPAT result. As mentioned above, candidates can challenge the GPAT answer key by following the due procedure and paying the processing fee of Rs 200/-. The challenges sent by the candidates are then reviewed by the panel of subject experts set up by NTA. If a challenge is found to be correct, the provisional answer key will be revised and released accordingly. On the basis of the final GPAT answer key 2024, the final GPAT Result 2024 will be prepared and released.  Candidates must note that no objections or challenges will be entertained against the final GPAT answer key.

How to Check GPAT Answer Key 2024?

Candidates can check the GPAT answer key through NTA’s official website with the help of the following steps:

• Visit the official website of NTA GPAT
• Click on the link "GPAT 2024 Answer Key Challenge"
• Log into your candidate account using your application number and password/date of birth and enter the given security pin 
• To view your marked responses, click on the link “View Question Paper” 
• To view the provisional answer key, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”
• The provisional GPAT answer key 2024 will then be displayed on the screen

How to Calculate Marks Using GPAT Answer Key 2024?

Candidates can use the official GPAT answer key, to calculate their score in the examination. In order to calculate their marks, candidates need to consider the following points:

• There are a total of 125 questions in the exam and the total marks are 500
• 4 marks are awarded for every correct answer
• 1 mark is deducted for every incorrect answer
• No marks are given for unattempted questions

While calculating their marks using the answer key, candidates need to add 4 marks for every correct answer and deduct 1 mark for each wrong answer.

How to Challenge GPAT Answer Key 2024?

In case of any discrepancies or errors in the provisional answer key, candidates can challenge the answer key through the NTA’s official website. Candidates must note that once the GPAT results are out, the final answer key cannot be challenged. 

The steps to challenge the provisional GPAT answer key 2024 have been mentioned below:

• Go to the official website of NTA GPAT
• Click on the link "GPAT 2024 Answer Key Challenge"
• Next, log into your candidate account using your application number and password/date of birth and enter the given security pin 
• To view your marked responses, click on the “View Question Paper” option
• To view or challenge the answer keys, click on the link “Click to view /Challenge Answer Key”
• In the provisional answer key, the Question IDs will be given in sequential order and the ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option(s)’ stands for the correct Answer Key to be
  used by NTA
• In order to challenge a particular option, you may use any one or more of the Option IDs given in the next four
  columns by clicking the check box
• After selecting the desired option, scroll down, click on ‘Save your Claims’ and move to the next screen
• Next, all the Option IDs that you have challenged will be displayed on your screen
• To upload documents supporting your claims, select ‘Choose File’ and upload the required documents in a single PDF file format
• Then, click on ‘Save your Claims and pay fee' or if you wish to modify your claims click on ‘Modify your Claims’
• Once you have saved your claims, all your challenges will be displayed on the screen
• Next, pay the required processing fee (Rs 200/- per question) by clicking on ‘Pay Fee’ option
• Payment of the processing fees can be made through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking
