XAT 2024 Result Out: Steps to Download Result, Details Mentioned in Result, Score Calculation

XAT Result 2024: Xavier School of Management (XLRI), Jamshedpur has released the XAT results on its official website. Candidates can access their XAT scorecard using their login credentials such as XAT ID and date of birth. XAT exam 2024 was conducted on January 7, 2024. 

The XAT scorecard 2024 mention details such as overall score and percentile, sectional scores, and percentiles, marks scored by the candidate, and other candidate-related information. The management institutes will release the XAT cutoffs for admission online. Candidates who clear the XAT cutoff are shortlisted for Group Discussion(GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. 

In the XAT exam, every correct response is given 1 mark, and 0.25 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer. If there are more than 8 unattempted questions, there is a negative marking of 0.10 mark for each unanswered question. XAT exam score is calculated by adding the scores of all 3 sections which include verbal and logical ability, data interpretation, quantitative ability, decision-making ability, and general awareness.

Candidates can download their XAT scorecard by visiting the XAT official website. Exam applicants need their XAT ID and password in order to access their scorecards. The list of candidates shortlisted for the interview round will be released tentatively in the third week of January 2024. The interview rounds will take place in the months of February and March 2024. The admission offers and waitlist will be released in April 2024.

Candidates can download the XAT result 2024 through the steps given below: 

• Step 1: Candidates are required to visit the official website of XAT
• Step 2: Click on the tab that mentions - ‘XAT Scorecard’
• Step 3: Enter XAT ID and password in the login window
• Step 4: Enter the captcha/security code
• Step 5: XAT result/scorecard will be displayed on the screen
• Step 6: Download the XAT scorecard in PDF format

How to Calculate XAT Score? 

As per the XAT marking scheme, 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer and 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer. If a candidate has not answered more than 8 questions, 0.10 mark will be deducted for each unanswered question. XAT results will be based on the marking scheme given in the table below.
