SKCET Coimbatore B.E./B.Tech. admission in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc., requires one to have completed their Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) from Tamil Nadu. They can be admitted to B.E. and B.Tech. programs through TNEA counseling. The admissions are based on merit.

For SKCET Coimbatore Ph.D. admission, students must qualify for the UGC-NET/JRF/SET exam. If they do, they will be called for an interview and admitted directly. Students who do not qualify for the UGC-NET/JRF/SET exam must take an internal entrance test based on their M.E./M.Tech. scores.
