HPBOSE 10th Exam 2026: Improvement Exam Registration, Datesheet, Result, Pass Percentage

HPBOSE 10th Exam 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has extended the registration dates for the forthcoming HPBOSE 10th Improvement Exam 2026 to June 5, 2026, without a late fee charge, for students who want to apply for improvement in their marks. Students who apply after the aforementioned date will be charged an additional late fee of Rs. 1000 till June 10, 2026. Note that no application will be accepted after June 10, 2026. Students can apply for the HPBOSE Class 10 Improvement Exam 2026 from their respective school authorities. All those students who want to apply for any one or a maximum of three compulsory subjects will be required to pay an examination fee of Rs. 950, while for improvement in an additional subject, students will have to submit an application fee of Rs. 700.

The board had earlier declared the HPBOSE 10th Result 2026 on May 10, 2026. Students who appeared for the HP Board Class 10th Exam 2026 can check and download their results from the official website - hpbose.org. Along with the official website, students can also download their results from the official IE Education portal at education.indianexpress.com.  HPBOSE conducted the HPBOSE class 10th board exams 2026 in offline/pen and paper mode. The HPBOSE 10th exam 2026 was conducted from March 3 to 28, 2026. The board authorities announced the HPBOSE exam dates in online mode. Students could download their Himachal Pradesh Board exam dates from the official website - hpbose.org. The HPBOSE 10th practical exams were held from February 20 to 28, 2026. 

HPBOSE 10th Result 2026

The Himachal Pradesh board released the HPBOSE Class 10th Results on May 10, 2026, in online mode. Students who are dissatisfied with their HPBOSE 10th result were given a chance to apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of their answer sheets till May 25, 2026. Students were required to pay an application fee of Rs. 800 for re-checking and Rs. 1000 for re-evaluation. If there is an increase in marks after re-checking, the marks will be revised accordingly. However, if there is a decrease in marks after re-checking, no changes will be made in the previously obtained marks.

Students who fail to clear the HPBOSE 10th board examination with the minimum passing marks of 33% can appear for the compartment examination. The registration process for this academic session's HPBOSE Improvement and Supplementary Exam 2026 is ongoing. Students can apply till June 5, 2026, without a late fee and till June 10, 2026, with an additional charge of Rs. 1000. The exam dates for the same will be announced soon. Last year, the HPBOSE 10th result was announced on May 15, 2025.
