HPBOSE 10th Exam 2026: The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education conducts the HPBOSE class 10th board exams in offline/pen and paper mode. The HPBOSE 10th exam 2026 will be conducted from March 3 to 28, 2026. The board authorities  announced the HPBOSE exam dates in online mode. Students can download their Himachal Pradesh Board exam dates from the official website - hpbose.org. The HPBOSE 10th practical exams will be held from February 20 to 28, 2026.

HPBOSE 10th Admit Card 2026

The Himachal Pradesh Board class 10 admit card is an essential document that is required for entry to the examination centre. School authorities can download the HPBOSE 10th admit card from the official website and distribute them to the respective students. Without the hall ticket, candidates will be denied entry to the examination hall and will not be permitted to appear for the examination. Students are required to collect their hall tickets from their respective schools. 

HPBOSE 10th Exam Pattern 2026

The marks weightage for HPBOSE 10th exam is 100 marks. The duration of the theory examination is 3 hours. The exam pattern is released on the official website of HPBOSE. The HPBOSE 10th board exam pattern gives an outline of the total marks, exam duration, marks distribution according to chapter or unit, and question type. The various types of questions in the HPBOSE Class 10 examination are objective type questions, very short answer type questions, short answer type questions and long answer type questions.

HPBOSE 10th Result 2026

The Himachal Pradesh board will release HPBOSE Class 10th results in online mode. Students who will be dissatisfied with their HPBOSE 10th result can apply for re-checking or re-evaluation of their answer sheets. Candidates need to apply for re-checking within 15 days from the date of result declaration and for re-evaluation within 30 days of result declaration. There is an application fee of INR 400 for re-checking and INR 500 for re-evaluation. If there is an increase in marks after re-checking, the marks will be revised accordingly. However, if there is a decrease in marks after re-checking, no changes will be made in the previously obtained marks.

Students who fail to clear the HPBOSE 10th board examination with the minimum passing marks of 33% can appear for the compartment examination. Last year, the HPBOSE 10th result was announced on May 15, 2025.
