CBSE 10th Result 2025 is likely to be declared on May 13, 2025 (tentative). However, there's no official confirmation regarding the result release date yet. The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the results for CBSE 10th exams in online mode. The overall pass percentage was recorded at 93.12%, which was 0.48% higher than academic year 2022-2023. The CBSE class 10th supplementary result was declared on August 5. Whereas the CBSE 10th after re-evaluation/ verification Lot - 2 results was announced on July 30, 2024.

CBSE 10th Result 2025 - Relative Grading

CBSE has adopted the relative grading system for awarding subject-wise grades to the candidates in class 10th and 12th exams. The CBSE is based on relative grading which is a more scientific approach instead of absolute grading wherein grades are given based on the predetermined cut-off levels. 

For awarding grades, all the qualified candidates are put in a rank order divided into 8 equal groups and are awarded grades as follows -

• Many variations in the proportion of candidates to adjust ties are made, wherever possible.
• In case of a tie, all candidates getting the same score will be awarded a similar grade.

In 2023, a total of 21,84,117 students registered for the exam out of which 21,65,805 students appeared for the exam. The total number of students who cleared the exam was 20,16,779 and the pass percentage was 93.12 percent which shows a decline of 1.28 percent from the previous year.
