SBI Clerk 2025 Exam Syllabus and Pattern: The State Bank of India conducts SBI Clerk exam in three stages - Preliminary exam, Main exam and Language proficiency test for opted local language (if applicable). The SBI Clerk Prelims exam consists of three sections - English language, Numerical ability and Reasoning ability. Meanwhile, the SBI Clerk Mains exam consists of  General/Financial awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning ability and Computer aptitude. 

Candidates applying for vacancies of a particular state/ Union Territory should be proficient in the language of that State/UT. The language proficiency test for the local language opted by the candidate is conducted as a part of the selection process of the SBI Clerk Exam 2025.

SBI Clerk Exam Pattern 2025

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The test consists of 100 objective type questions in three sections - English language, Numerical ability and Reasoning ability. The duration for the SBI Clerk prelims exam is 1 hour. Candidates can check the section wise weightage below.

SBI Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2025

The SBI Clerk Main examination is conducted for a total of 200 marks consisting of four sections. Candidates can check the detailed section-wise exam pattern in the table below.

SBI Clerk Exam 2025 - Test of local language

Candidates who have applied for the vacancies in a particular State/UT must display proficiency (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the opted local language. Only those candidates who qualify the preliminary and main stages will be called for the language proficiency test. 

SBI Clerk Exam 2025 - Marking Scheme 

The marking scheme for SBI Clerk exam 2025 is as follows:

• For every correct answer, candidates are awarded 1 mark.
• 1/4th mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
• No mark is deducted for unanswered questions.
