SBI Clerk 2025: Result (Out), Merit List PDF, Cut-off, Mains Exam Date

SBI Clerk 2025: The State Bank of India (SBI) has announced the prelims result for SBI Clerk 2025 exam on November 4. Aspirants need their registration number and date of birth to download their scorecard at sbi.co.in. The SBI Clerk prelims exam was conducted on September 20, 21 and 27, 2025, to recruit 6,589 posts covered under the recruitment process. Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the SBI Clerk Mains Exam 2025 to be conducted on November 21, 2025.

The SBI Clerk Prelims admit card was released on the official website on September 13, 2025. The SBI released the official notification for the SBI Clerk exam 2025 on August 6, 2025. Along with the notification, the authority also released the SBI Clerk registration form 2025. The registration window was open from August 6 to August 26, 2025. Candidates are advised to download the official notification as it contains important information about exam dates, vacancies, eligibility criteria, selection procedure, and further details. 

The exam will be conducted in two rounds - Prelims and Mains. Only those candidates who qualify for the SBI Clerk prelims exam will be eligible to participate in the mains exam. The SBI Clerk Result 2025 has been released online on the official website: sbi.co.in. Candidates can download their Preliminary exam result using their roll number/registration number and date of birth. 

A total of 6589 Junior Associate vacancies have been released for the 2025-26 recruitment drive. 

What is the SBI Clerk exam?

The State Bank of India conducts the SBI Clerk Exam to recruit candidates for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre. The exam is conducted annually in two stages - Prelims and Mains. The final selection, however, is based on verification of eligibility for the post and qualifying in the test of the specified opted local language, where applicable.

As per the official notification, the State Bank of India is inviting applications for appointment as Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) in the clerical cadre for the year 2025-26.  The application window is open from August 6 to August 26, 2025. SBI Clerk Eligibility 2025

To apply for the SBI Clerk exam, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria prescribed by the State Bank of India. The eligibility criteria to apply for the SBI Clerk exam are given below.

Age Limit 

The candidate applying for the exam should not be less than 20 years of age and more than 28 years of age. Age relaxations are provided for reserved category candidates which is provided in the table below.

Academic Qualifications

• Candidates must have a Graduation (or its equivalent) in any discipline from a recognised University.
• Candidates in the final year of their graduation can also apply on the condition that they provide proof of passing the exam on or before December 31, 2025.
• Candidates enrolled in the Integrated Dual degree (IDD) programme who wish to apply for the exam must ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before December 31, 2025.

The SBI Clerk Preliminary examination is conducted in the online mode. Objective-type questions are asked in the examination for a total of 100 marks. The SBI Clerk Prelims exam consists of three sections, namely - English language, Numerical ability, and Reasoning ability.

SBI Clerk Main Exam Pattern 2025

The SBI Clerk Main examination consists of 4 sections: General/Financial awareness, General English, Quantitative aptitude, Reasoning ability, and Computer Aptitude. The exam is conducted for a total of 200 marks. Candidates can check the section-wise weightage below.

SBI Clerk Salary 2025

The starting basic pay for the post of Junior Associate (Customer Support & Sales) in the clerical cadre is Rs 19,900 (Rs 17,900 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates).
