IBPS SO Application Form 2025 - The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection will release the applications for the IBPS SO exam online. Eligible candidates can apply for the exam by visiting the official website - ibps.in. The application form is released along with the official notification.

Candidates are advised to carefully read the instructions provided in the notification to understand the application process which involves several steps including registration, filling of basic information, uploading of documents and payment of fees. It is important to ensure that candidates fulfil the basic IBPS SO eligibility as specified by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection before filling the application form. A candidate can apply for only one post. More than one application should not be submitted. In case of multiple applications, only the latest completed application will be considered. 

IBPS SO Application form 2025 - Steps to apply 

The IBPS SO application form can only be submitted in the online mode. Candidates can follow the steps given below.

Step 1 - Registration 

• Visit the official website - ibps.in. 
• On the homepage, click on ‘CRP Specialist Officers’ 
• Now, click on the link that mentions ‘Apply online for CRP- Specialist Officers’. 
• Select ‘Click here for New registration’ 
• Register using your credentials such as mobile number and email ID. An application number and password will be generated and sent to your registered contact number. 
• Login using your credentials into the Candidate portal. 

Step 2 - Uploading scanned documents

Candidates must upload all the documents including their scanned photograph and signature in the specified format. Candidates are required to upload the following documents.

• Photograph
• Signature
• Left Thumb Impression
• A hand written declaration
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• Any other relevant documents as specified by the exam-conducting authority

Step 3 - Filling of basic information

Candidates will be required to fill the application form and enter the required details in the designated fields. Prior to submission, candidates can use the ‘Complete registration’ facility to preview the application form and make any changes if required.Candidates must carefully fill all the sections as no changes will be accepted after submission.

Step 4 - Payment of Fees 

After final submission of the application form, candidates can pay the application fees. The fees can only be submitted online. Upon the completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates shall download the e-receipt and take a printout for future reference.

The application fees shall be paid in the online mode only. Candidates can complete the online payment through debit card, credit card, internet banking, IMPS, cash cards/mobile wallets by entering the details asked on the screen.
