The recruitment notification is released for a total of 896 vacancies for the posts of IT Officer (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) and Marketing Officer (Scale I).
The official notification and IBPS SO application form was released on August 1, 2024. The applications have now closed for the 2024-25 cycle. However, eligible candidates can fill the registration form for the next cycle, when available, through the official website - ibps.in.

- IBPS SO Mains result for 2024-25 cycle is now available at ibps.in from February 7 to February 14, 2025. Candidates can download their results by logging in through their registration number and password.

The application process consists of multiple steps including registration, filling of application form, uploading scanned documents and paying the application fee. - On the homepage, click on the link that mentions ‘Register Here for IBPS SO 2025’.
- Register for the exam by providing your name, mobile number and email ID.
- Candidates will receive an OTP on their registered contact number. Use the OTP to generate your registration number and password.
- Now login into the candidate registration portal using your generated credentials.
- Fill in the application form carefully by providing the required information.
- Candidates will be required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the specified format.
- Upon completing the application form, click on submit.
- Pay the requisite fees through the online payment methods to submit your application.

IBPS SO Eligibility 2025
Before filling the IBPS SO application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility specified by IBPS in the official notification. The IBPS SO eligibility does not typically change every year. However, any changes in the eligibility requirements will be provided in this article. The IBPS SO eligibility is given below.
IBPS SO Eligibility 2025 - Nationality
To apply for IBPS SO Exam 2025, a candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: A candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India
