IBPS SO Exam 2025 - The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the IBPS Specialist Officiers (SO) mains admit card 2025, candidates can now download their IBPS SO 2025 mains admit card through the official website at - ibps.in. The IBPS SO Mains 2025 exam is scheduled to take place on November 9, 2025. Last day to download the IBPS SO mains admit card is November 9, 2025. The IBPS SO prelims exam was conducted on August 30, 2025 and the result for the same was declared on October 17, 2025. 

The official notification for the IBPS SO exam 2025 was released on July 30, 2025 and IBPS SO application form was made available for eligible candidates on July 1, 2025. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced a total of 1007 vacancies for the recruitment of Specialist Officer posts. The exam authority announced the IBPS SO notification at - ibps.in. Once the recruitment notification is released, aspirants can check the total vacancies for the posts of IT Officer (Scale I), Agricultural Field Officer (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I), Law Officer (Scale I), HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) and Marketing Officer (Scale I). The IBPS has declared the revised IBPS exam dates on its website for 2025-26 examination cycle, the IBPS SO exam for prelims round was held on August 30, 2025, while, IBPS mains exam is scheduled to be conducted from November 9, 2025.

IBPS SO Application Form 2025

The IBPS SO application is released in the online mode at ibps.in. Candidates can fill the application form within the specified time frame. The application process consists of multiple steps including registration, filling of application form, uploading scanned documents and paying the application fee. To fill the application form, candidates can follow the instructions given below.

• Visit the official website - ibps.in.
• On the homepage, click on the link that mentions ‘Register Here for IBPS SO 2025’.
• Register for the exam by providing your name, mobile number and email ID. 
• Candidates will receive an OTP on their registered contact number. Use the OTP to generate your registration number and password.
• Now login into the candidate registration portal using your generated credentials.
• Fill in the application form carefully by providing the required information.
• Candidates will be required to upload their scanned photograph and signature in the specified format.
• Upon completing the application form, click on submit.
• Pay the requisite fees through the online payment methods to submit your application. 
• Take a printout of the acknowledgement slip for future reference.

IBPS SO Eligibility 2025

Before filling the IBPS SO application form, candidates must ensure that they fulfil the minimum eligibility specified by IBPS in the official notification. IBPS SO Eligibility 2025 - Nationality 

To apply for IBPS SO Exam 2025, a candidate must be either -

(i) a Citizen of India or

(ii) a subject of Nepal or

(iii) a subject of Bhutan or

(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Note: A candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall provide a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India
