NIT Rourkela placement for the last season was conducted successfully. A total of 1,534 offers were made by 330 companies with a record-high average salary of INR 12.95 lakhs per annum (LPA). The highest package made was of the ammount INR 52.89 LPA .The average salary for BTech students was INR 14.22 LPA. Out of total number of students placed, around 95% were from the flagship BTech programme. The oveall placement rate was 100%.
