NIT Agartala (NITA) Admission 2024: Admissions has started for National Institute of Technology, Agartala (NITA) for the academic year 2024. NIT Agartala offers various UG, PG and Ph.D courses through 13 departments. NITA offers its flagship course, a four year B.Tech program, in a number of specialisations including CSE, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

NITA B.Tech eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed a 10+2 pattern of examination with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks. The admission to NIT Agartala B.Tech programs are carried out on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main examination. The seats in NITA B.Tech programs are allotted through JoSAA/CSAB counselling sessions. 

The tuition fee for NIT Agartala B.Tech program is INR 62,500 for each semester. Candidates with family income between INR 1 lakh to 5 lakh per annum would get a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee. Candidates with family income less than 1 lakh would get a complete waiver of tuition fee. SC/ST/PH students are exempted from paying tuition fees.

• The NIT Agartala BTech admission 2024 has started with JEE Main exam. The JoSAA counselling for the candidates who have qualified in JEE Main 2024, has started with the release of the first three-seat allotment lists.
• The CCMT and CCMN registration has started for MTech and MSc respectively. The last date for the application for both CCMT and CCMN counselling is June 7, 2024.
• The last date to apply for MBA Admission is May 30, 2024. The Institute Level Test (ILT) for MBA Admission will be held on June 18, 2024, for all the candidates other than the ones who appeared for CAT/MAT/CMAT/GMAT, etc. GD and Interviews for the qualified candidates will be held from June 19 to 21, 2024.
• The last date for submission of online application for the PhD Admission is May 30, 2024. The written test and interview is to be held on June 19, 2024.

The eligibility criteria for NIT Agartala B.Tech admission states that the candidate must have passed a 10+2 Level of examination with a minimum of 75% marks in aggregate.

All admissions to NIT Agartala B.Tech programs are done on the basis of merit secured by the candidate in JEE Main Examination. The seats are allocated through JoSAA/CSAB Counselling.

The tuition fee for NIT Agartala B.Tech program is INR 62,500 per semester. In case of candidates with family income between 1-5 lakhs per annum, a 2/3rd remission of tuition fee is offered by the institute. Candidates with family income less than 1 lakh per annum as well as SC/ST/PH candidates are exempted from paying tuition fees.

NITA M.Tech Admission 2024: Eligibility Criteria

NIT Agartala M.Tech Eligibility criteria requires that the candidate must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate for General/OBC Candidates and 60% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

NITA M.Tech Admission 2024: Selection Process

The admission to NIT Agartala M.Tech program is carried out on the basis of The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The candidate must possess a valid GATE score in order to gain admission under centralised counselling (CCMT) in NIT Agartala M.Tech programs.
