NIT Agartala (NITA) Admission 2025: Admissions has started for National Institute of Technology, Agartala (NITA) for the academic year 2025. NIT Agartala offers various UG, PG and Ph.D courses through 13 departments. NITA offers its flagship course, a four year B.Tech program, in a number of specialisations including CSE, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Chemical Engineering.

NITA B.Tech eligibility criteria states that the candidate must have passed a 10+2 pattern of examination with a minimum aggregate of 75% marks. The admission to NIT Agartala B.Tech programs are carried out on the basis of marks secured by the candidate in JEE Main examination. The seats in NITA B.Tech programs are allotted through JoSAA/CSAB counselling sessions. 

The tuition fee for NIT Agartala B.Tech program is INR 62,500 for each semester. Candidates with family income between INR 1 lakh to 5 lakh per annum would get a remission of 2/3rd of the tuition fee. Candidates with family income less than 1 lakh would get a complete waiver of tuition fee. SC/ST/PH students are exempted from paying tuition fees..

In case of candidates with family income between 1-5 lakhs per annum, a 2/3rd remission of tuition fee is offered by the institute. NITA M.Tech Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

NIT Agartala M.Tech Eligibility criteria requires that the candidate must have a B.E./B.Tech degree in a relevant discipline with a minimum of 65% marks in aggregate for General/OBC Candidates and 60% marks in aggregate for SC/ST candidates.

NITA M.Tech Admission 2025: Selection Process

The admission to NIT Agartala M.Tech program is carried out on the basis of The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). The candidate must possess a valid GATE score in order to gain admission under centralised counselling (CCMT) in NIT Agartala M.Tech programs.
