IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi- IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi is an initiative to expand the horizon of education and research, offering a world- class learning environment for the students, faculty, and researchers. The future of enrollments for the academic year 2025 consists specifically of four-year B.Tech. Engineering and Technology programs which will deliver comprehensive educational development for students. Through the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025 admission process two-thirds of program seats will become available for UAE nationals and both international students and long-term Indian expatriates resident in UAE for five years. One-third of all available seats will be distributed between Indians and international students through JEE (Advanced) 2025 entrance examinations. IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi provides its students to enroll in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) engineering and technology programs. Undergraduate (UG) Admission Process

Step 1: Create an Account
Candidates must register on the Combined Admission Entrance Test (CAET) 2025 portal to apply. This entrance examination is open to UAE nationals, international students, and UAE residents of Indian origin who meet the eligibility criteria.

Step 2: Review Eligibility
Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

• Minimum 75% in at least two subjects (Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics) and 80% aggregate in Grade 12.
• Born on or after October 1, 2000 (two-year relaxation for UAE nationals).
• First-time appearance in Grade 12 in 2024 or 2025.

Step 3: Submit Application
Complete the online application, upload required documents, and track your status on the portal.

Step 4: Appear for CAET
Attend the written examination at a designated center. Final selection will depend on CAET performance.

Postgraduate (PG) Admission Process

Step 1: Submit Application
Applications must be submitted via the IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi portal, along with required documents like graduation certificates, reference letters, and a statement of purpose.

Step 2: Shortlisting
Candidates are shortlisted based on eligibility, including relevant work experience, GATE (350+ score), or GRE (150+ quantitative score).

Step 3: Interview/Written Test
Shortlisted candidates with work experience are directly invited for interviews. Others must clear a written test on engineering concepts before the interview.

Step 4: Admission Notification
Successful candidates will receive admission notifications via email.

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Courses, Eligibility and Selection Criteria 

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi offers 4-year B.Tech. programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Energy Engineering, and Chemical Engineering. Admissions are open to UAE Nationals, International Students, and Indian expatriates through CAET 2025 and JEE (Advanced) 2025.

• CAET 2025: Conducted twice, on February 16, 2025, and April 13, 2025, the exam is pen-and-paper-based and tests Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Applicants must be UAE Nationals, international students, or Indian expatriates who completed the last five years of schooling in UAE.
• JEE (Advanced) 2025: Indian and foreign nationals must qualify through JEE (Advanced) and register via JoSAA.

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi Gurugram Scholarship 2025

IIT Delhi Abu Dhabi is committed to fostering academic excellence by offering a range of scholarships for 2025 to deserving students. These scholarships aim to provide financial support, encouraging talented students to pursue their education and excel in their academic and personal endeavors.

Scholarships for UAE Nationals

UAE National students are eligible for a full scholarship covering 100% of the tuition fees. Additional benefits include a monthly stipend of AED 4,000, a housing fee waiver for double occupancy (for students residing outside Abu Dhabi), and a transportation allowance to ensure convenience and comfort during their studies.

Scholarships for JEE (Advanced) Students

Students admitted through JEE (Advanced) 2025 will pay the same tuition fees as IIT Delhi. They will also receive a monthly stipend of AED 2,000 and a housing fee waiver for double occupancy.

Scholarships for International Students and Indian Expats

International students, including Indian expatriates in the UAE, are eligible for tuition fee waivers based on merit:

• Tier I (100% waiver): For students maintaining a CGPA ≥ 8.00.
• Tier II (50% waiver): For students maintaining a CGPA ≥ 6.00.
• Tier III (No waiver): For students with a CGPA < 6.00.

For Semester I, 2025-26, only Tier I and Tier II scholarships will be offered, determined by CAET 2025 scores. Each program will allocate 10 scholarships—5 for Tier I and 5 for Tier II.
