Central University Of Jharkhand Admissions 2025, Courses, Placements and Fees

The Central University of Jharkhand was established in 2009, under the Central Universities Act, to provide relevant education. The Central University of Jharkhand offers undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD programs through its 25 Departments and 9 Schools. Central University of Jharkhand has been graded B grade by NAAC. CUJ is recognized by the University Grants Commission. 

The diverse courses offered by CUJ include degree programs from multiple areas of education. Integrated programs of B.Tech and M.Tech, Integrated B.Sc and M.Sc, Integrated BA and MA, Integrated B.Com and M.Com are the prominent degree courses offered by CUJ. The diverse field of education provides students with the option to choose from numerous courses.

The current campus of the university is located in Brambe, which is a 25 km drive from Ranchi city in Jharkhand, India. It covers 45 acres of beautiful green land, where classrooms and hostels fit well with the natural surroundings. The classrooms are situated in a mango orchard, and the hostels are surrounded by tall Sal trees. To protect the trees, some of them can be found growing inside the rooms and through the roofs.

The Jharkhand state government has given the university 510 acres of land for a permanent campus at Cheri-Manatu, about 10 km from the main city. Construction has begun to create a campus that will be worth visiting and living in. The new campus is designed to be unique, providing an eco-friendly environment for learning with green architecture and designs that will attract scholars.

CU Jharkhand, being a relatively new central university has all the modern infrastructural facilities, the University's technical cell, Health Centre, Engineering cell, and sports facilities are some of the major facilities provided by CUJ. 

According to the placements of CUJ, In 2023 total of 96 students secured placements. The highest package offered was INR 11.25 LPA, awarded to MBA students. Renowned companies like Reliance Retail, ICICI Prudential, IndiaMart Intermesh Ltd., and several others took part in the placement drive.

According to the latest placement statistics of 2023, CUJ students were placed with an average CTC of 3 LPA in multiple organizations like ICICI, Bandhan Bank, Reliance, Axis Mutual Funds, Ujjivan Small Finance Bank, India Mart, HDFC Life, Aditya Birla Group, Coal India Limited, NTPC Limited, Central Bank Of India, Union Bank of India and more. 

CUJ Infrastructure

Central University of Jharkhand is equipped with modern, state-of-the-art infrastructure. While a new campus is being built, the current campus of CUJ has basic amenities like a central library, Hostels, a Cafeteria, a gym, a WiFi-enabled campus, a Sports complex, Transportation facilities for students, Labs, and an Auditorium. The advanced infrastructural facilities offer students a comfortable environment for learning and disseminating knowledge. 

Faculty members have been appointed as departmental representatives with students from various programs and departments. These representatives collaborate closely with the University Placement Cell to organize placement activities.
