Central University of Haryana Overview: Courses, Admissions 2025, Fees and Placements

Central University of Haryana, is one of the fifteen new central universities founded by the Government of India Act of 2009. CUH has been accredited with grade ‘A’ by NAAC and listed among the top 150-200 Universities in NIRF ranking and funded by the UGC.

CUH campus is located in Jant-Pali Villages, Mahendergarh district of Haryana in a vast land of 484 acres, the university offers 83 academic programs at the undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD levels. The University aims to accomplish this goal by fostering a culture of excellence in teaching, research, and innovation across both pure and applied fields of study.

Central University of Haryana has eight schools and departments which facilitate the academic programs. The School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the School of Interdisciplinary and applied sciences, the School of Basic Sciences, the School of Business and Management Studies, the School of Engineering and Technology, the School of Education and the School of Life-long Learning are the major departments and schools of CUH offering varied courses from diverse fields of study. 

The Placement and Opportunity Center at the Central University of Haryana seeks to support the transformation of students from learners to active contributors in service. In the academic year of 2023, a total of 34 students from the 3-YearThe  UG program and 56 students from the 4 Year UG program were placed with the median package of INR 2.5 LPA and INR 3.5 LPA respectively.

The CUH campus offers facilities like virtual classrooms, centralized air-conditioned classrooms, wifi enabled campus, a center for innovation and incubation, sports facilities, hostels, gyms, cafeteria, banks, transportation and more for the ease of students.

CUH Admissions 2025: Courses and Eligibility

CUH or the Central University of Haryana offers nearly 83 academic programs at the UG, PG, Diploma and PhD levels. CUH Admissions are done through the various central government eligibility exams like the CUET, JEE, CAT, UGC-NET/JRF/CSIR, etc.

CUH Placements

The Central University of Haryana has a dedicated Placement and opportunity center, to oversee the placement of students. The main emphasis of the placement cell is to explore various kinds of opportunities available through interaction with prospective employers.

According to the latest placement records of CUH, a total of 34 students from the 3-Year UG program and 56 students from the 4-Year UG program secured placements, with median packages of INR 2.5 LPA and INR 3.5 LPA, respectively in the academic year of 2023.

CUH Infrastructure

Central University of Haryana offers infrastructural facilities to its students, offering them ease and comfort with learning. The prominent infrastructural facilities at CUH are air-conditioned classrooms, wifi enabled classrooms, a sports arena, an auditorium, an innovation and incubation center, hostels for both girls and boys, a Bank with an ATM facility, a post office, transport facilities and more. Apart from facilities for students, staff quarters for faculties, and guest houses for visitors are also provided at CUH.
