The Central University of Andhra Pradesh is a recognized university based in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. It came into existence through the Act No. 25 of 2009 of the Central Universities, CUAP is one of the nearly 15 Central Universities established across the country. It was established for the purpose of upliftment and development of higher education in that area and has grown into one of the well known higher education institutions in the southern part of India. The institution is committed to academic excellence, research and comprehensive development, including a range of courses, the latest facilities and modern infrastructure.

The CUAP offers admission to a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, selection for which happens through the CUET conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA).
